Do not run from complex situations. They could look scary and overwhelming. Know that there is no mountain that the power of God can not make plain.

Face the complex challenge with the power and the word of God. That might be the last battle before the breakthrough! Don’t give up keep pressing on. You will have a testimony in Jesus name.

One practical way of facing complex challenges is to try to analyse and evaluate the complexity. Attempt If you can separate the complex issues into individual and smaller units. Then start facing the challenges in small bits, applying systems thinking so you understand the relationships of the various units within the complex set-up God will give us all the strategy for winning by His grace, Amen.

Please get into a strong Bible believing Church as you progress in your Hope Journey towards excellence. Give your life to Jesus so as to be a full benefactor of the privileges in Christ Jesus.

Please focus on where you are going and not on negative responses from people. You are you. People will always offend you. Not every one can be right by your standards of behaviour so don’t let it get to you to break your focus.

If you have to forgive, forgive. If you have to overlook, do that. You and your future are too important to let people derail you.

Be encouraged regardless of the situation and challenges you face. The Bible says David encouraged himself in the Lord in the face of a major challenge involving the enemy taking away his family on returning from a war. The Bible reads he and the men with him wept until they had no more strength in them to weep. After the emotions, David came to the realisation that his help is in the Lord, thus the need to encourage himself in the Lord.

You have to develop that switching mechanism within you from focusing on the challenges and situations to a new focus of trusting in the Lord. David realized that only God guarantees success and victory, thus his shift of focus.

You too can focus on the greatness of God as against the greatness of the situations and the challenges you face around you.

God will come through for you. Look up to the hills just as it is written in Psalms 121. Focus on God and not the problem. He will make a way.

Issues will always be there. At times it could be wrong accusations, mistaken assumption or anything. Rationalise that this is part of life and not an event or situation to stop you. I have noted the secret of some very important people, they do not let what is said about them affect them negatively, they bounce out of things and move on.

Let God and His standards be your conscience and put your trust into in the Lord. He will come through for you in Jesus name.

As you advance and progress in your journey of Hope, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Strength is quite important for any journey, thus you need strength on your journey towards excellence.

Pray to God to receive the Spirit of Might that gives strength. The Spirit of the most High God as seen in the first few verses of Isaiah chapter 11 will build up strength in you from your inside. This include your strength of character as well as other areas of your life where strength is needed.

On your journey of Hope and as you climb the stairs of success, please be humble, remain humble. In all successes you encounter as you journey on, give glory to God. Appreciate Him and give Him thanks for every success, no matter how small or great.

Let humility be your lifestyle. Practice it, live it. Let the world see humility in you but more importantly let humility come from your heart. Don’t fake it to make up a front. You will be surprised that the more humble you are, the more God will elevate you. The Bible says He resist the proud but gives grace to the humble. This means he elevates the humble.

Humbly interact with your world, your community, your family and your Church. Ascribe all greatness in your life to God and He will lift you higher!

David wrote in Psalms 34 that I will bless the Lord at all times and His praise shall continually be in my mouth. Note the words “at all times “ also note the word “continually “.

Learn to always have an appreciative heart for God. Thank Him for everything. Don’t take anything for granted.

God is still doing miracles in this day and age. Please believe in the miracle working God to visit you and change your story. One day of God’s divine touch is more than 10 years of hard work!

Let your attention be the on your goals and aspirations and not on tensions that people bring your way. Focus on God and His unfailing love and give thanks in all things. People will always have issues; some right, some wrong and some partly right or partly wrong.

The key issue is cast your cares upon the Lord for He cares for you. When one door shuts, another opens. Look out for the opportunity that is newly opened as against lamenting over the shut doors. Be resilient, be strong , don’t stop pressing on towards the mark of the high calling. Don’t be imprisoned by negative words spoken to you by other people in anger. You know who you are. God knows you and that is all that matters! Every other thing is secondary.

Remember, don’t let words bring you down. Words are meant to raise you up! Stand up, stand straight, put the garment of praise on. If you are dropped to the floor, bounce up back like a rubber ball! Be happy.

Don’t just focus on your needs but look out for the needs of others. This life is such interesting that at times it is when you are doing good that God answers your own need. Remember the case of Job in the Bible. He went through a lot of challenges, but his situation turned around when he prayed and supported his friends.

Plan the good you will do for people and start going for it!

As we exit another month going into the next month with great expectations of the miraculous power of God, let us remain thankful for what God is doing in our lives while on the way to the next level.

Bishop Oyedepo is the 4th service at Faith Tabernacle, Ota today reminded about the only one leper who came back to thank God for his healing from the ten lepers and how his healing was perfected. Bishop discussed the three levels from Good to perfection as Good, acceptable and Perfection. When we thank God for the good, he takes us to the level of acceptable, when we thank God for this level, we are brought to the level of perfection.

What I got out of this is “always give thanks” . Bishop further reminded us about in the scripture where Jesus gave thanks before the miracle of the feeding of the thousand. What we can extrapolate from this is that praise precedes miracle.

I will keep praising and thanking God for where I am. I know my miracle is around the corner. You too can do the same.

May God give us all a heart of appreciation regardless of the situations around us. God is good.

As we get to the half way season into the year, it will be good to start to take stock and review where we are with our goals and aspirations for the year. What have you planned for the year. As we are almost halfway through, where are we with our goals. Have they been accomplished?

If there are still outstanding things to achieve for the year, are we on course? If we are not on course, what are the obstacles on the way and how do we plan to overcome the obstacles and challenges?

Remember God can make a way in the wilderness and streams in the desert, there is nothing God can not do. Nothing at all.

Cast your cares and worries on the Lord, He cares for you. Don’t worry, just put your trust in Him. Nothing is too small, nothing is too big. See God answer your prayers.

Remember, time is going, we are almost half way through another glorious year, take stock, address issues, move on into excellence.

At specific times on your Journey of Hope, shift the focus off your needs and appreciate God for who He is. Build up appreciation for God by way of worshiping and blessing Him.

Think of His creation, think of His miraculous signs of Old. Think of His Power, think of His might. Think of Him giving His son Jesus for the redemption of mankind. Think hard of all His greatness and give Him the glory. Appreciate Him by way of worship. Just like David claimed in Psalms 34: He wrote “ I will bless the Lord at all times and His praise shall continually be in my mouth” Look at the works of creation around you and bless the Lord.

Have an attitude of divine appreciation. Remember to go to Church this Sunday and just bless His Holy name. Let the focus be on God and His wonderful works. Do it with a genuine heart with all your heart and soul; in Spirit and in truth as is written in the book of John that God seeks such worshippers. When God seeks you and finds you because you are a genuine worshipper, I am sure you know the next experience you will get? Awesome! Great divine attention!

Not only is it worthy and good to thank God for His creative powers and what He had done of old, thank and appreciate God for what He is presently doing.

You can do the unusual and thank Him ahead of what He will do in your life. This is a mystery.

There are instances in the Bible that thanksgiving preceded great miracles. Jesus gave thanks and afterwards the miraculous feeding of the thousands.

Paul and Silas were praising God and prison doors and great chains fell off them to walk into great freedom from a previous place of imprisonment in shackles and pain.

Remember, have an attitude of praise. Put your thanksgiving in overdrive by thanking God for what you are expecting God to do in your life.

Just play your part on your Journey of Hope and believe and expect God to come though for you:

1. Believe and have faith that God will bless you and bring to reality your aspirations and dreams.

2. Pray to God without ceasing. Have a prayer regime. Don’t just pray for yourself and your needs but also for people and the community around you.

3. Love your Bible. Let it be your best friend. Meditate on it day and night. Have a programme to read the whole Bible, make if fun. Have a topical area in the Bible you want to research in and be an expert. See how God will start revealing things to you.

4. Do Matthew 6:33. Seek ye first the kingdom. Have a burden for Kingdom issues. This could range from evangelising/ soul winning to serving in Church. Make yourself a soul winner.

5. Be a lover of God. Develop the habit of loving God. Appreciate Him, love Him in return for His love for the world that He have His son. Develop agape love.

6. Be hardworking and also a hard thinker. Think of where you are and where you want to be and start taking practical steps towards where you want to be including studying, upskilling, training yourself and immersing yourself into your new aspired life. Don’t be afraid to start small. Don’t be afraid to take the first step. Take Courage!

7. Develop an appreciative lifestyle. Thank God for every day and every step you take moving forward. Have a heart of thanksgiving. Bless the Lord at all times like Psalms 34. Be a Worshipper of the most High God. Even worship and thank God for who He is. This is one of David’s secret in the Bible. He loved the Lord and worships God at every opportunity. He can be seen and quoted in Psalms and encouraging us to Thank God at the remembrance of His Holiness! How would you expect God to respond to this “ all sold out attitude to Worshiping God” ? God will definitely be pleased.

You and I can can start living a live pleasing to God and let us see Him doing wonders in our lives.

The situation you are might not be conducive or where you want to be. Plug into the positives that things will make you better. Don’t give up Hope. Detach your thinking from the present situation.

Project into a beautiful future where you wish to be. Condition your mindset to be in that future and pray/plan your way out of the present situation by the power of God. This can help you to detach from the pain and realities of the present condition.

The world may see you in that present unpleasant condition but you and God know you are progressing towards a golden future.

Don’t let anything, any situation or anybody stop you. Your future is worth more than where you are. Move towards a glorious future. Don’t give up!

No matter where you find yourself and in any life’s difficult situation, don’t give up on God and don’t give up Hope.

If you go through the Bible, there are so many examples of hopeless situations that God intervened in and the situations were turned around. The children of Israel at the Red Sea and the enemies pursuing them on the other direction is a classic example.

One would have thought that was the end! But look at how God came through for them. It is the same God today, yesterday then and forevermore. Your responsibility is to place total Hope in God and He will come through for you.

God will always be good. His kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom. As Christ thought us in the Lord’s Prayer “ May thy kingdom come”. Let us work hard and do what we can to support the kingdom of God.

Matthew 6:33 confirms that: seek ye “first” the kingdom of God and it’s righteousness and all other things will be added........ The keyword there to me is “first”. That means even above my personal aspirations and goals, I should seek the kingdom of God as a number 1 priority. It is almost like saying God first!

So on our journey of Hope to become great, let the consideration of God and for God be number one in our lives. God who knows you have prioritised Him will reward and decorate you in Jesus name.

Just a reminder that at Living Faith Church/ Winners Chapel is at one of the most exciting times of the year. The midst of the season/ year between June and July. These are revival times. Plug into the revival agenda and let God elevate you to the next level.

As written in Isaiah 11, pray for the Spirit of might to come upon you. You will be strengthened and God will give you the grace to continue.

At times you may not get it right or make a wrong decision. Quickly admit your mistake and make corrective actions to correct the wrong. God has favour on those who have a contrite heart and will show you His mercy.

It might be that you mistakenly missed an act of obedience or you did not give Him glory for a success or testify to His goodness. Make corrections, ask for forgiveness and let God show you His mercy.

He sees your heart and knows you. It is very important that you make restitution with God as soon as possible. He is a loving father and will welcome the “new”you, the “repentant” you, the “contrite” you with open arms.

Build a relationship of trust with God that there is nothing you can not discuss with Him. You are safe in God’s hand.

Remember, correct your wrongs before God and get back into the track of excellence, faith and Hope.

Let God arise and His enemies be scattered!
Every enemy of your progress is the enemy of God.

Call God, bring God into any situation that looks like an obstacle on your progress and see the obstacle scatter. Once obstacles are scattered, you can just walk straight into your blessings. Go get it!

Note the word “ let God arise”. To me, I will interpret this as “allow God to”. If this is the case, then the responsibility to let God arise in our situations rests with you an I. Once we “let God” the enemies will scatter. In this case I will enjoin you and I to let God into our situation for the blessings and the breakthrough.

Don’t let situations overcome you. Situations will show up. Overcome situations with the Christ character in you. Be determined to overcome situation and you will!

Don’t run from situations. Face them head-on. You are born to win and you will. Every overcoming makes you an overcomer.

Face situation with the example found in Jesus Christ. He overcame the storm by rebuking it. He overcame hunger by feeding thousands after giving thanks! He overcame failure in ministry by prayer, fasting, having disciples around him to support in ministry and by sending them out into different locations to minister and promote the Kingdom.

You are born to win and you will win !

Enter His courts with Praise, Be thankful unto Him and bless His Holy name: These are part of the protocol and attitudes as in Psalms 100 in keeping His presence, I mean God’s presence around us.

God’s presence is so important on your Journey of Hope towards excellence. Remember the word says “Hills melt like wax at the presence of the Lord”.

Do everything you can to have the presence of God around you. Happiness, rejoicing, praising, worshiping, studying of the word of God, committing to kingdom advancement endeavours and so on are things that will make us not to have, but also to sustain the presence of God around us.

Please in all we do, let us crave to have God’s presence around us and God will see us through in Jesus name.

Remember the importance of God’s presence!
