It was a regular day at a busy market somewhere in Lagos. I was standing at the edge of an intersection between blocks of shops waiting for
a vehicle to pass before I cross. Then all of a sudden, a young boy (he can't be more than 4 years old) came running from behind me (he was playing
tag - [cacher] with other kids) and was going to run past me to the other side oblivious of the oncoming vehicle. But by a stroke of luck, a dose
of reflex, and a pinch of divine intervention, I immediately grabbed his arm and swing him round me from my left to right (180 degrees) as the vehicle
sped past immediately. If I had hesitated for just a second, it would have been a fatal accident. After I dropped him, you could see from the expression on his face that he was in a state of distress having realized what would have happened to him if I didn't do what I just did.
