I noticed some scratches and sore around my dogs scrotum the morning I was bathing him, and two days later the scrotum has become so big, the Vet doctor had him check and administered some shots, but no improvement 2 days after, she had to cut around the scrotum to release the fluid from the scrotum after which she dressed the cuts but this morning it seems to have gotten even worse.

Please doctors in the house and petlanders, how do I go about this, the doctor is already suggesting Neutering/Orchidectomy.

1st and 2nd pics... the first day I noticed the sore

I watched something similar to this on nat geo wild doctor pol. He diagnosed the dog of cancer. Although that dog was also bleeding aside the swollen.

The owner was given three options:

1.The cost is expensive

2.The pain the dog will go through during treatment

3.Euthanasia

The woman called the husband and the dog was euthanized.

Bury the damn beast alive. Shit !!!

Take your dog to a vet. The area is exuding pus, which signifies it's become infected. It'll required aggressive antibiotic therapy. This is not something you can handle yourself if you want your dog to recover.

Thank you all for your concern and suggestions about taking him to the vet, I haven't been able to respond to comments coz I have been busy helping the new Vet doctor who came to attend to him, more shots of antibiotics and several other shots were administered, I hope he recovers from this.
it's such a shame most of the vet doctors we have out there are quacks, the new Vet who came to have him checked was shocked on realizing a fellow Doctor could decide to cut around the scrotum just like other part of the skin which actually led to the open wound.

Good morning sir and I'm so sorry about your dog's condition. I'll advice to on how to go about this in two ways. First of all, how is your dog generally? is he feeling pain or weak? if yes, you'll have to administer pain relievers which I'll prescribe personally to you. Then please do not Neuter your dog not until you've done a lab test in order to identify what is really wrong your dog and the microorganism causing the inflammation. That will guide in order to get a very good drug treatment of choice. Meanwhile stabilize your dog and make your dog comfortable by relieving pain. And as said earlier, its better all these are done by a qualified vet in a standard veterinary clinic/hospital where you have access to qualified manpower and equipments. I hope this helps?

Good day seunH, speaking about how my dog feels, Yes he's currently feeling weak as compared to his usual self, I'd really appreciate leaning from you something to help him relieve some pains, although I have had another vet examine him.

Years back, our dog had this issue. It looked like the scrotum was peeling off until I noticed it was the soap I used in bathing it.

I’m I think it’s some sort of tumor. In ‘07 we had to euthanize our dog Major as a result of the pain he was going through.

This is the only other time I’ve seen a mutt in this condition.
