One of the overpriced estate in Nigeria. The cost of banana Island is an attestation that of a wide gap between the rich and the poor, and how the rich try to oppress the poor.

What Banana Island looks like is what every street in Nigeria should be. No one needs to travel for miles to enjoy social amenities. Every locality should have a park where people can relax, that should not be a luxury.

Several estates in South Africa, UK etc are much more organized, and beautiful than banana Island, yet much cheaper.

Ironically these things like parks, peace and quiet, supermarkets are available to the average citizen in any of the developed countries.
Its only in Niggeria basics like supermarkets and public parks is seen as a luxury that billionaires enjoy.

Nothing spectacular about it. I always thought it was heaven on earth until I had to stay for a while. It's filled with snakes, mosquitos and little fishes swimming in the dirty gutter water.

Aside the well built houses, well paved streets and security, nothing spectacular.

Just kinda made me understand the power of the media, even more better.

The media is way too powerful. Especially south western media. They will sell you watery shit as the best thing in the world.

And believe me, you will buy the expensive shit, if you are not careful.
