dramacox: 1. Your age won’t affect 2. Not compulsory but if you want to go through the NSE route then yes you will need to write it. 3. Calculate your fees, add living expenses and and just make sure you have a tidy amount. Yes, you can use a sponsor. A tidy sum that will show that the person is capable of paying your fees. For the sponsor, Letter of sponsorship, the persons employment details, employment letter, documents to show and establish your relationship, If you read through the thread, you will see a list of documents needed. Kindly find time to go through the thread. It will help you. |

I got admission to Humber college and my course has coop, can anyone tell me how to go about it?pls break it down for me,everything that has to do with coop? What do I need to do? Thank you |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by awys: 7:34am On Mar 16, 2021 |
Papapa1234:Coop is like an internship placement where you get to do your internship with a company in lieu of a project at the end of your Studies and it varies and depends on the school and organization ranging from 1month -...... So the school will write the info of the Coop on your admission letter so while you are submitting your visa application in the field where they ask if work will be part of your Studies you will click YES and upload the the letter of acceptance there where the Coop information is you need to do this so the VO'S will know cuz a work permit will issued to that effect at the POE. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Hello.. good morning to the gurus in the house. I have been a reader and appreciate all the info here. I would like to ask a few questions; How long does background check last? Does it update to complete? Also how long does eligibility last? I submitted my application on the 4th of march and biometric on the 7th of March, background check started same day and has been like that. Eligibility started 2 days later and has also been like that. Meanwhile I submitted upfront medical and my portal is saying I dont need medical for now. Is my application going well at all? 1 Like |

Ketima: Good Morning 1) Your sponsor can pay your tuition for a year, and grant you a gift deed for LE. Doing these would go a long way in showing his willingness to sponsor you. And Yes, his bank statement should be shown as proof that he can sponsor you comfortably for the remaining years. 2) Yes Please. |

Heroulo: All is going well. You're actually on track because your eligibility started on time. However, nobody can tell you how long it's going to last. All you can do is wait and pray. IT WILL END IN PRAISES. 1 Like |

Heroulo: You application is going well. It is too early to begin to stress yourself. Honestly you will need the energy for later on so just keep calm and just keep praying. Nobody can state the timing it takes for these things to be completed. Keep the faith up and it will end in praise. 3 Likes |

DubemSmg: I read your SOP. I noticed you kept complaining and talking about how bad things are in Nigeria. You kept repeating the fact that health and safety practices in Nigeria is very terrible in about 4 different paragraphs. You also told them about the poor internet in Nigeria. If there's anything I've learnt from reading through this thread, it's "Don't talk down on your country." I guess, this sent the wrong message. Can you share the purpose of the refusal on your second application? Also wait for the Gurus to analyze this better. 8 Likes |

Yteem: Okay, have just seen people get their medical update and mine is not. And what is the ‘Ghostupdate’ about please. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Yteem: 8:31am On Mar 16, 2021 |
Heroulo: Don’t worry. It will be updated, if you did upfront that means you submitted the E medical form that was given to you already. The ghost updates is just a sign that work is going on back end. You stumble on your application and your see profile updated as the status. Work is going on. Don’t worry yourself. You be back with your approval gist very soon. Just relax and pra. 2 Likes |

Morning NL, Please I will need some guide here. I actually want to go for Msc and am planning towards next year. I will be the one to sponsor my self, though am hoping I get funding. But in case getting funding is stressful, I have been gathering money through my business apart from my salary work and I won't mind to pay my fees. Though I just have around 15M at the moment.. And since I have my side business, am thinking I can use that as a tie saying I can't leave my business that I have to come back after Msc, and I have been using my business company bank account to run transactions as evidence. For those that have gone, I want to know if 15M will be enough, since I might resolve to paying school fees myself just in case funding is not coming forth. I'm sceptical about the money, more reason I think it will be better for me to work more till maybe end of this year, if I can raise up to 25M or so. Please I need input for those are familiar with the process. Thanks |

I'm wondering, does anyone have information about admission in university of British Columbia or university of Victoria? Has anyone received an admission offer from any of the two universities recently? I'm still expecting mine. I applied for Msc in computer science since December but no update from them yet. |

Please I'll like to know which exchange rate the VO's use to know if the amount in an applicants account is enough to cover the tuition fee and cost of living? Is it black market, bank rate or what? |
