Get the heck outta my mention with this bullshit.

So Buhari rules only as a democratic president?

What is this one doing in my mention for God's sake?

Yes, I didn't attend primary school and I'm from the remotest hamlet from the North, and so what?

A human being with working brain will effortlessly know which of OBJ administration is being referred to.

But I know there is no difference between a bag of stone and drum of akpu in terms of intelligence.

Re: Goodluck Jonathan V Muhammadu Buhari (facts) by Nobody: 5:51am On Dec 29, 2020
In responding to this post, the OP is right to say that Buhari is not a good economic manager.

Nigeria needs to genuinely deregulate our petroleum, and power sector so that enough investment can flow in and really prop up our economy. We also need to improve secuirty...because as far as I can see, there is no security strategy for this country at all. And we also need to really fight corruption, and use the money saved from deregulation in funding education.

That's what we should be ctriticisng Buhari for....but because it means we pay higher for power and petrol, we don't want to do that.

And comparing him with GEJ misses the point. Our economy was good under GEJ because oil prices were high enough,. meaning we had enough dollars flfowing into the economy to slow down the fall of the naira, and to continue our over-importing ways...and to waste on subsidisng the power sector as well. That's why under GEJ, our reserves went down from $60 billion to $32 billion under his regime...because we had to spend the money we earned keeping prices low sso that everyone and his mother would have been happy. Whereas if GEJ had deregulated, as he was planning to do if not for the jokes at occupy Nigeria stopping him, Nigeria would have been more prosperous.

The truth is, Nigeria's economy is in a bad state not because of Buhari, but because oil prices have crashed. And because Bubu is in charge, he gets the blame for a crashed economy. We were here before. In the period 1973-82, we had high oil prices, and a prosperous economy. Then in 1982, oil crashed, by 1983, the economy was falling, and by 1984, when Bubu was in charge, the economy was in a bad state. IBB took over, the economy continued to crash, And so on until 2003, when oil started rising again.

Of course, Buhari, despsite not being responsible for the bad economy is certainly responsible for the lack of action on dealing with the economy. He wants to keep prices down, so at the expense of our growth, he wastes dolllars on keeping prices as low as possible. Of course, running aneconomy on price cpoontrols, directly and indrectly keeps poeple happy, but keeps your debts rising, and your overall economy bad. And if oil should go up...things won't change at all

If we want a better economy for all, we must deregulate the oil and power sector, and we must develop an economy based on manufacturing and free from oil. We cannot be selling oil, sharing the money, and importing goods that are in excess of the value of what we export, oil aside.

No, I can't say that "in all things" because it will not be true. In most things though.

One is there is definitely less free money for lazy fuqs under bubu, and for that I'm glad because hailing politicians for pay has become less lucrative and people must find something to do for their dinner that literally fell like manna under Ebele.

If you listen carefully, you'll hear the hungry lazy fuqs moaning.

Now you get it. We complain instead of understanding we are the ones who make our Nigeria what it is and what we want it to be.

I thank the Gods that time is on our side. We can continue moaning if we prefer or get off our lazy asses and start being the change we want to see.
