Some of you Igbos need to know your history.

The Igbos teamed up with the Hausa-Fulani in 1959 to form the government at independence. Specifically, Nnamdi Azikiwe ditched the offer by Awolowo to become the 1st prime minister (number 1) and chose to be 2nd fiddle to Tafawa Balewa. This was the first foundation error that was served Nigeria. Azikiwe was an Igbo man.

Earlier, Azikiwe had ensured that there was no referendum clause included in the constitution as proposed by Enahoro, and reemphasized by Awolowo for check and balance if the republic didn’t work out well. This was foundation error number 2.

The 3rd foundation error happened when leaders from all regions were killed during the 1st 1966 coup masterminded by an Igbo officer Major Emmanuel Ifeajuna, but leaders of the southeast region were spared. This error proved very costly as it has since haunted the Igbo tribe since the counter / retaliation coup by Northern officers in 1966.

The 4th foundation error came when another Igbo man acting as President in Azikiwe’s absence, worked with an Igbo General (Aguiyi Ironsi) but against his cabinet members to handover the reign of government to the military headed by army General Aguiyi Ironsi. It was General Ironsi that dismantled the regional system of government, and made Nigeria a unitary system as practiced to date.

I am sure you were not aware what role some Igbo leaders played (pre and post independence) to get Nigeria to where it is today. So I urge you to kindly research and be aware before you sling mud at other tribes (who equally have their own faults in the scheme of things but such pale in comparison to these Igbo leaders and soldiers errors).

But Nigerians, perhaps being sensitive do not rub it in the face of Igbos, after all, the Igbo tribe did not congregate and decide to take any of those actions as a people. Some Igbo leaders and soldiers only acted in their own best interest mostly. Same can be said for all other Nigerian tribes that also had their own fair share of errors and mistakes.

Ultimately all Nigerians need to bury the hatchet and seek a workable solution that benefits all tribes and people, whether as a unified country or as separate countries.

I don't get you?

Is what you just said in the constitution of the republic, or do we operate a country based on whim and caprice of emotions?

Those you mentioned are not president.

A president should call his ministers and ensure development cut across his country. Or is SE not part of Nigeria?
a president cannot know every of your problem, it is the work of your representatives to lobby their colleagues support them in the national assembly so that projects will be sited in there constituency.
Also, aside from South West can you tell me any zone where federal government present is felt more than south east?
For good 20 yrs your region have been voting for one party but that party failed to bring one project to the east. Who are you going to blame? Blame your elders who encourage you to vote for that party but they cannot lobby that party to site a federal project in your region.

What are you trying to defend here?

Abeg when was the quit notice given?

is it from yerima shettima who has been lobbying Uwazurike to beg MNK to stop Agitation?

Fulani is scared of Nigeria disintegration because if it happens, the Hausas will wake up and chase them out more so Every political elite in Nigeria knows that Nigeria will split, they just don't know when

the fulanis preferred regional government until Ironsi an igbo man brought this trash.

So the best leaders are northerners?

If Anambra have bad leaders, other states may nt have bad leaders.
