I think the case of IPOB and the claim of Mr Igboho are different. Ipob seek a sovereign state for the Igbos, Igboho is simply taking the initiative to protect his domain where the state has failed.

Obviously the Hausa Fulanis living in the forest have failed to self censure and ensure that their domain is free of criminal elements.

Thus it behoves the citizens to take control of their fate since the state has failed in its primary responsibility to protect the people.
