Book 1:- The meeting The hall was crowded with students who came with their parents for final registration. Sighting the long line of rowdy students, Lekan had no intention of waiting in line. Making a U-turn, he struggled through some students before making his way out of the hall. He was going to settle in his dormitory before making a decision on when to complete his registration. Under the scorching sun, he stroded down the alley while making a turn to the left, heading straight to the dormitory. He was alone, his mum didn't bother to come help him out with his school transfer procedures, his senior brother who volunteered was immediately turned down by him. How could he allow that? Not after what happened! "Let me go" Lekan turned his head in the direction where he heard the voice. It was a very low call for help but somehow, the desperate call for help didn't pass his sharp ears. Not ignoring the call, Lekan hastened his feet to the direction only to discover a group of boys hovering around a particular person. "What's happening here?", he heard himself say. This was the problem with him. Whenever there was a situation in front of him, his brain and mouth would begin to have conflicts, with his mouth taking the win. Here was a perfect example of his mouth taking decisions before his brain. Turning their head to the direction of the voice, those boys had a look of surprise on their faces and then, their expression turned to one of curiosity. "And who are you?", A sturdy one asked, his physical appearance was one that looked like he was way past the age of adolescence and was approaching adulthood. He didn't look like a student but the funny thing was, he was a student. Before Lekan could make a response, a voice rang out from behind him cautioning them to move to their dormitory and quit roaming around. Obviously that voice was that of a teacher. Acknowledging the teacher's words, Lekan returned to face the boys and was stunned to realize they were gone. Afraid to be caught by the teacher they had run away. It became apparent that they were some useless delinquent with no business being in school. Lekan wanted to dwell on the fact that he had just ran into some tyrants who would have hurt him if not for the timely intervention of the teacher, but the human creation in front of him held him in transfixed. Turns out the one surrounded by those good-for-nothings was a boy, a pettie beautiful boy of about his age. Of course, Lekan was familiar with his English words, but he couldn't help but associate this boy with the word beautiful because that was exactly what he was. The bullied boy wasn't pettie but something about him gave off the ooze that he was fragile and needed protection. For this reason, Lekan couldn't help but smirk. "I'm going to have a good time here", he thought to himself. Taking a final glance at the bullied boy, he turned around with his luggage missing the opportunity to receive appreciation for his little act of kindness. In fact, he didn't want to hear the boy he rescued say " thanks". He felt that being opportuned to catch a glimpse of a rarely made work of God was an act of gratitude in itself. With these thoughts, he sauntered to his dormitory leaving the petite beautiful boy stunned. 1 Like 1 Share |

Book 2 :- Surprised Lekan was fed up with the particularly long speech of the principal. His brain wanted to settle down on the fact that he had been beaten by some group of students who called themselves "seniors". He didn't get it, he had followed all the morning rules spelled out by the school authorities, why then was he being bullied by those scoundrels? Was he being targeted? But he hadn't caused trouble since he resumed school, plus, this was his second of school. After being bullied, he had wanted to storm off to the principal's office to lay his complaints, but he couldn't. Running off to cry out his grievance to the principal reminded him of his little cousin's sister, whose only solution to problems was to cry out to her elders. " No", he wouldn't make himself look like a coward by reporting to the principal. He would just let this slip by and hope that, he wouldn't fall into a similar situation in the future. Having thought up a perfect plan on how to evade future problems from his seniors, Lekan resolved to now pay attention to the principal's speech. Oh No!, he wasn't preparing to take on one of the biggest shocks of his life! Who would have known? He wasn't expecting this! Of course, he never bargained for this! Without thinking much, Lekan turned to his side to ask one of his classmates who looked tired from standing long hours on the assembly ground. "Who's that?", he asked with his eyes still on the cause of his inner commotion. " Who? You mean the senior prefect?", the tired-looking boy replied lazily. "Senior pre.....fect?", Lekan asked with the look of doubts on his face. Of course, he had every right to look doubtful at that answer he had received but he didn't have any reason to believe that he was being lied to. When he had turned to listen to the principal's speech at the assembly ground, Lekan didn't know that the principal was done with his speech and had left the assembly pulpit to the senior prefect. During the time when his thoughts were still on his bitter experience that morning, the brief exchange of speakers had been made. No way! , Lekan didn't want to believe that the beautiful boy he had saved on his first day at school would be the senior prefect of the school. "WTF  ", he kept asking himself. " Why the hell would the senior prefect of this school be caught up in that sought of dilemma with some useless rogues."Wasn't he the senior prefect? Couldn't he give out commands and next thing those delinquents would be on their knees begging for mercy?" "Why was he alone in the corridor, surrounded by useless students who would have beaten him up?" All these questions kept popping up in Lekan's head, but he knew he wouldn't get the chance to ask them because they had been dismissed from the assembly ground and were to head to their various classes. Before he joined the crowd of students rushing to head to classes, Lekan stole a glance at that beautiful face again. "Ahhh, how can a boy be so beautiful", he thought to himself. 2 Likes |

Book 3 :- Thoughts It's been 2 weeks now and Lekan had gotten used to the school environments. Apart from becoming familiar with every nook and cranny of the school, he had also familiarized himself with the constant bullying from the senior students. He had come to realize the reason he was picked on by those students on his second day of school. Come to think of it, those scoundrels who had bullied him were nothing but fools. That day, he had been asked by some senior students to pick up some plant's debris and dispose of them but he had unconsciously arranged his necktie and smoothed his shirt before bending down to pick up the debris. This unconscious begavior of his had come off to the seniors as arrogance and they had had him dwelt with. This one time experience had made him conscious of his every behavior around his seniors. Whenever he was around these inhumane people called seniors, his brain would be on full alert in case he behaved wrongly so that some delinquents take it as something else. But hell, habits were hard to break. His useless habit of constantly moisturizing his lower lips with his tongue would come off as flirting to some girls. Especially Linda! Oh, Linda! Ever since he had stepped his foot into his class, his seatmate Linda had taken him as a bestie. Every now and then, she would scream bestie! Bestie! Bestie!. Argh! It was fine if that was the only thing she did, but whenever there was a teacher in class, Linda would always rub her legs against his. Of course, he underrstood her intentions but hell, shouldn't she let the sleeping dog lie? Ever since he changed school, he had resolved himself to put on that sheep clothing and keep away from public eyes, the wolf in him. But this Linda! What exactly did she want? "Naaa, you won't bring my downfall, not again", he thought while looking down at those slender legs constantly rubbing against his leg. It is as you guessed, he was starring at those legs, while licking his lower lips flirtatiously. It took great efforts for him to bring about the inner peace he now experiences, those hot slender legs wouldn't bring about his fall. But, something lately has become a thing of great turmoil to him. Every morning, during breaks and anytime he found himself out of class, his inner being seem to always be undergoing great uprising. This uproar withn himself seems to happen whenever his eyes fall on that beautiful being. After that day at the assembly ground, Lekan had done his research. That beautiful boy's name was Soyinka and he was the present senior prefect of the school. Ss3 Class A. Science student. Lekan wasn't a stalker but let's just say he had managed to get Soyinka's class timetable and was able to know when the petite boy was free. Lekan couldn't figure out why he got the boy's timetable, he guessed he just wanted to see more of that face. So because he thought of that face, he would wake up early each morning to attend early morning devotion to catch a glimpse of that work of art. Every time during the break, he would stroll out of class, which was kind of against his normal rule. He would roam the school following and watching this Senior prefect instructing students. Of course, he would do this from a safe distance. Don't you dare ask him why! For he himself is oblivious to the answer. 1 Like |

Book 4:- Encounter You can say Lekan was stalking Soyinka but their second encounter wasn't something that was planned out by Lekan to happen. It was fate's fault. Yes, fate! Lekan had heard a lot about the happenings in boarding school but he had never thought he would have a first-class experience of it. This was somehow an elites boarding school, so he wasn't expecting the high-handed bullying going on. So it was right for you to say that he was fed up with the hooligan senior students. Lekan isn't your average easy going student. The reason he was expelled from his former school isn't something to be talked about. In fact, the reason he was one year behind his peers in school was something his mother spent a hell lot of money to suppress. He was supposed to be in his final year but had to repeat ss2 because of some ugly past that shouldn't see the light of day. So it didn't come as a surprise to himself when he almost knocked out one senior boy, who kept testing his limits and because teachers were having some meeting, Lekan was dragged to Soyinka's class to settle the matter of him beating up a senior student. Did he feel regrets for beating up that senior boy? , no he didn't. Somehow, he felt glad that he was brought face-to-face with Soyinka. At a point, he had thought of thanking the senior boy he fought with, for he had allowed him to meet Soyinka. "What's the problem?" Soyinka questioned without sparing Lekan a glance. His indifferent tone to the situation showed that he had encountered a lot of situations like this and was bored of it already. Flipping through a huge textbook, he waved his hands indicating to the others that they were free to deal with the situation as they deemed fit. This action of his made Lekan, who was kneeling in front of Soyinka, a little annoyed. For he had thought that, for once, he would have a normal conversation with Soyinka. Seeing as he was about to be dismissed without speaking to Soyinka, "Soyinka!!!", he screamed. And dead silence filled the classroom after this name slipped through his mouth. There were lots of reasons why the senior classroom turned silent. One was that a junior student had dared to call out the senior prefect's name without a title added. (Like Senior Soyinka) The second was that Lekan had called out the senior prefect's name with a commanding tone. Curiosity spread through the class as every student in the classroom turned to Lekan's direction to find out just who this junior was. Just as Lekan realized his mistake and was about to apologize, He met the indifferent stare from Soyinka and stuttered. " Dele, the field behind the chemistry lab hasn't been cleared right?" "Appoint him to clear it immediately". These were the words of Soyinka before Lekan, was dragged out of the senior class. Well, of course, he didn't fail to notice the look of shock on the faces of the curious class before he was taken away. The reason for their exaggerated expression wasn't something Lekan wanted to find out because he was more fixated on clearing that grass to the Godda.mn floor. ***** Twelvedemon12 Anne2012 NiklauseFred mhizv Thanks for dropping your thoughts. Book 5:- Courage It's been over eight days now since Lekan cleared that godda..mn field and still no progress. School activities have been going exactly the way they should and this was the major reason Lekan was freaking out! "No progress, no progress at all", he kept screaming in his head. The layers of fine skin on his lower lips had been chewed off by his constant licking and replaced with a layer of finer lip skin. He had to something and he knew exactly what to do. But but..... He was scared, he was scared of scaring away Soyinka but the hell! He had to do what had to be done that was why he was standing at a corner starring directly at the physics lab. So yeah. It's past school time but he was still in school trying to do exactly what had to be done. His plan involved him waiting for school to be over so he could approach Soyinka but it's been over an hour now but those group of boys hovering around Soyinka didn't have plans of leaving. He had done his little research which involved stalking Soyinka. According to his little research, Soyinka stays back at school every Thursday to do God knows what in the physics lab. And every Thursday, his friends would accompany him but won't stay around leaving only Soyinka to do whatever in the lab. So why was today different? Why weren't they leaving? Just as he was about to give up and helplessly return to his dorm, those group of wizards who almost ruined his plan came out chattering. " Ahhhhh Thank Goodness", he exclaimed loudly while smoothening his t-shirt. After allowing his necktie to hang loose on his neck giving off a charming aura, Lekan resolved that all was well with his appearance. But all wasn't well with the situation because just as he was about to walk towards the lab, he met the eyes of Soyinka watching him. So turns out that immediately his(Soyinka) friends walked out of the lab, he had also walked out and sauntered towards Lekan. "What are you doing here", he asked while strolling past Lekan indifferently. Something about the way he asked the question, made Lekan feel that the answer to the question wasn't needed or important. So after turning down different ways to reply in his head, he settled on something simple. " Good afternoon senior ", he blurted out softly while walking behind Soyinka. "Urgh! Should he have replied with that? Maybe it wasn't a good idea" he thought because his greeting didn't get any acknowledgment. With no reply from Soyinka, Lekan kept ransacking his brain for what to say. He had prepared what to say and how to say it to Soyinka but for whatever reasons, his brain couldn't figure out what to say. With no idea what to say, Lekan resolved to let the matter be. Well, talking to Lekan now wasn't important anymore because he had just found a new hobby. And that hobby was following Soyinka's foot trail. Oh, how enticing that was. "Do you have anything to say to me?" Soyinka asked again, but this time with a hint that he wanted answers. "Nothing really, I noticed you and your friends in the physics lab when I was passing by", Lekan replied with a very serious expression. What? Were you expecting him to tell Soyinka that he had been waiting for hours?. With Soyinka's attitude just now, nothing wrong had to be said in the meantime. "When you were passing by?", Soyinka asked suspiciously while coming to a halt. Lekan almost bumped into him because he was following behind his foot trails. Just before he retracted his feet to prevent bumping into Soyinka, Lekan perceived the sweet smell of masculine sweat on Soyinka which made him direct his eyes to Soyinka's collar. And then he noticed it, he noticed the beads of sweat rolling down Soyinka's neck. "That's weird", he thought. The school physics lab was always air-conditioned and plus, the weather wasn't hot. "Why was he sweating then?", he thought again. " You know I actually wasn't just passing by", Lekan finally replied to Soyinka's question but just as he replied, he walked in front of Soyinka paying attention to his face, and then he noticed Soyinka's eyelashes were flustering non-stop. " I know", Soyinka replied turning his face away slowly. "Why have you been following me?" He asked while walking away. It was only then that Lekan noticed that they were already close to the dorm and that Soyinka was walking towards the dorm. Lekan didn't concentrate on the fact that Soyinka had figured out his little stalking secrets and that Soyinka was walking away from him.
