Patriarchy (rule by fathers) is a social system in which the male is the primary authority figure central to social organization and the central roles of political leadership, moral authority, and control of property, and where fathers hold authority over women and children. It implies the institutions of male rule and privilege, and entails female subordination.

Male privilege refers to the social theory which argues that men have unearned social, economic, and political advantages or rights that are granted to them solely on the basis of their sex, and which are usually denied to women.


Patriarchy is probably one of the biggest contention points of feminism today. Let me start by saying the difference between patriarchy and male privileges is that one(male privilege) is simply as a result of the other(patriarchy).

Here are some of the benefits of being born in a patriarchal society (some written by Peggy McIntosh):

1. Odds of being hired for a job, when competing against female applicants, are probably skewed in the man's favor. The more prestigious the job, the larger the odds are skewed.
2. He can be confident that his co-workers won’t think he got the job because of his sex – even though that might be true.
3. He is far less likely to face sexual harassment at work than his female co-workers are.
4. If he does the same task as a woman, and if the measurement is at all subjective, chances are people will think he did a better job.

6. If he chooses not to have children, his masculinity will not be called into question.
7. If he has children and provide primary care for them, he’ll be praised for extraordinary parenting if I’m even marginally competent.

18. Every major religion in the world is led primarily by people of the opposite sex(males). Even God, in most major religions, is pictured as male.
19. Most major religions argue that he should be the head of my household, while his wife and children should be subservient to me.
20. If he has children with his wife or girlfriend, and it turns out that one of them needs to make career sacrifices to raise the kids, chances are it will be assumed that the career sacrificed should be hers.
21. Complete strangers generally do not walk up to him on the street and tell him to “smile.”

Very complex l must say because there are somethings l will not allow any f**king man subject my daughter to. Even though l believe the creator of the universe from his wisdom bestowed man that power over all creatures, gave him muscularity features, higher reasoning, boldness, leadership etc and there is rarely any religion, tribe or race that disagrees with that. l believe with the increasing awareness, the female gender shouldn't be treated as second class humans. Women should be encouraged to aspire to any height in the society but this privilege must not be abused or seen as power tussle which l detest some feminist like Sapphire ( who believes the future is female; one day women will take over the world).

With such mentality, it becomes difficult to argue for or against. lt now seems men are now under threat. But one thing l am very such of is this, history told me *The man will always determine the cause of the world at the war front. War is inevitable in man existence and woman has little chance to lead or survive such onslaught.

Even though l don't believe in the account of creation is Genesis, God created woman as a result of after thought and placed her under the man. The woman completes and compliments the man and will never be other wise.

Women are the greatest beneficiary of patriachy imo. Since time immemorial men have been saddled with the responsibility of fending for his family while women assist at home. It was only recently (via the the advent of feminism and all that) that things started to change. Women started sharing responsibilities with their husbands in their respective homes. By getting empowered, women became competitive despite the limitations of patriachy

My advice to you is that, no amount of civilization or education will erase the place of man on Earth and his right as God and nature has made it. All those termed up there are not my concern. Even if a time comes when women become superior, there will be one man that will lead armies and conquer his territories and wipe put all SIMPS on his way and expand. Those Countries you mentioned earlier are at the mercy of US because Russia will come back to claim their territories. Only men fight war. A woman cannot handle the pyschology, courage of preparing and leading a war. Men are always rational and of higher reasoning. So, men will plot and execute the war while she maintain her stool.
