without domiciliary account, you cant receive worldremit not like before you receive the money in your naira bank account. CBN is making thing difficult because they know boyz is using it pass regular person

This is not true. With world remit you have a lot of bank offering this service. If a particular bank tells you that domiciliary account is needed please leave that bank and use another. What you're saying was what I was told in Polaris bank, but I left and withdrew the money in zenithbank.

They have to go collect dollar from an agent...

You collect your dollar from the bank not agent. Except if you referring to the bank as your agent

Who else is experiencing delay in money transfer from foreign countries

We need to know what people are going through

Yes it is somewhat true, especially for countries that do not use USD$ for debit or credit card transactions...

For example Transferwise, PayPal(xoom), and I.money transfer, have all suspended transfers to Nigeria from Denmark, and for on-counter transfers, local payouts do not allow USD transactions except in euros, so it's a bit of a mess... Though if one really looks hard there may be a way, but for now ... it's not worth the hassle, if CBN likes they can block everything and allow kobo and shillings payments, strange set of people. If they wanted a free flow of FX in the economy, mainstream FX consist of GBP, USD, Euro, CNY, JPY, RSHR and CHF... why did they restrict it to only USD?

#edited
Even the Nigerian embassy in some European countries make life simply difficult by requesting consular payments to be made in USD, just imagine, Square pegs in round holes ? in countries where the official currency is the Euro... sometimes I just get fed up with the foreign exchange policies Nigeria pops up with sometimes.

Same here. Payoneer is blocking Nigerian related accounts left right and center.

FG has blocked TransferWise and some of the most popular ones like remitly and others we use as alternatives.

They're now planning to block accounts used to purchase or receive fiat currencies from Crypto exchanges.

Living in this country should be listed on the list of 1000 ways to die I swear. I don't know what those guys at CBN or the ministry of finance are smoking honestly.

Yeye corntree. angry

I dont really understand this new cbn policy on buying crypto currencies does it mean if I buy or sell bitcoin through my bank account my account will be blocked even if am using luno wallet?

How do you send straight to dorm from abroad?

The sender can register with azimo or World-remit after which you can send money (dollar) domiciliary account in Nigeria using the 'to send option' on the websites. Easy as doing local transfer.

I thought that option was a dollar pick up option and not straight to a dorm account?

If they want to send money to your bank account in Nigeria, we recommend using a specialist currency provider, include WorldRemit, TransferWise, Boss Revolution, Xoom or MoneyGram.

According to our research @ ,
Thousands of people send money back to Nigeria every week.
With over 15 million Nigerians living outside Nigeria, everyone needs an easy and inexpensive way to send nairas back home to benefit family, friends and others.
People from Nigeria send around $20 billion back home each year.

This is even the best and right time to have more money sent from abroad.

After all said and done,
Wiseandtrue,
Maybe that someone you spoke to outside the country is not ready to send you shishi and only decided to keep scoping you... no be u again our darling W! wink
