Can I give Dem lasota or gumboro today which has made Dem 8 n 5 days respectively..... Because I read from some previous post that they do give lasota a day 3/4 n gumboro from 6 days
Please help... My chicks are dried up, Dia buttocks are not enlarged again.
sorry for replying late you should have ask this question yesterday.

lasota is given at the 8th
gumboro is given at their 11th or 12th day.

please I beg you don't give those second batch that are not up 8 days for your own good, unless you want to take a risk in that area.

God bless our hustle

Please, between Top Feed and Vital Feed which is better for broilers? I'm currently using top feed to feed my broilers.
both of them are good.
what you should do to get a Nice result is try to ensure the broiler feed well and provide adequate water for them.

I don't understand exactly what you are saying.
lasota is vaccine given to prevent against Newcastle disease.
you first give lasota before gumboro.

What I'm saying is Dat I gave Dem gumboro first.... My mistake becos no one replied here n a friend told me I should give gumboro before lasota. The main issue here is that my chicks are still sleeping while standing and they are not eating well...thereby affecting their growth. Below are their pictures..
They will just put their heads down like that as if they want to eat and before you know, their eyes are closed. They are too dull.... Please what might be the cause. This is not huddling.....sir, help

You will be given vaccination chart from where you are buying them from. Am pretty sure they sell, administer as instructed.

Let there be heat in their pen for at least a week (not too much high and not too low). keep litter dry. Make their feed available and within reach.

P.s. Their vaccine is to be mix with their drinking water.

I currently have, they are in their 11th day today and they are doing fine. No mortality.

You should have consulted a vet. much ealier but...
You did nothing wrong in giving gumboro 1st, d deal is its not good practice to vaccinate a flock that is already down with disease. My advise to you is as follows:
1. Clear all litter and introduce fresh one to avoid reinfection.
2. Clean and disinfect all feeders & drinkers, ensure ur foot dip is in place as well.
3. Demarcate pen and Separate d sick ones
4. Administer broad based antibiotics, anti coccidiosis& multivitamin
5. Feed adequately.
6. If no improvement consult a vet. doc.

What is the cost range for the cages.

Do you have layers cages as well? What is their cost implication.

Regards.

Hello fellow farmers, I have 98 day-olds and they are doing very well. I have some few questions to ask for clarity.
I was told from where I bought the day-olds from that after administering lasota for 7days, I should only b giving them water till the 10th day after which I will give them gumboro. Pls is dat right?
My day-olds seems to be eating so much like the super starter I bought a week ago, they have consume half of d bag (although they are 98 day-olds in number). Pls is this okay?

Pls I need prompt response
