There's nothing wrong in that, so far the teacher has nothing attached to it and unless the female student doesn't like to be addressed that way.  |

@OP: Yes, there is something wrong with that. That is a very unprofessional behavior from a teacher. The job of the teacher is to teach the students not check them out. I don't even understand how or why anyone would think that was appropriate or ok. Anyone woman who thinks its is appropriate behavior, lets see if you'll be saying the same when the teacher decides to take things a step further. I know for sure if a teacher were to do something like here, he [or she] would be in a whole lot of trouble. Would you be asking the same question if an employer were referring to one of other subordinates as a 'babe'? As a teacher, you are in a position of professionalism, therefore you should conduct yourself in a professional manner. Its wrong and unprofessional like inky said but then with everybody calling everyone sugar,sweet,mylove,baby etc these days you can no longer tell when its harmless anymore. |
