What's bad about it, doesn't he remove his cloth at home?

We northerners cannot sit idle and allow the SW to paint our president bad. This same president built the Lagos to Maradi Niger Republic train tracks to ensure that the yorubas travel to Niger to get education and tourism.

You re misusing your right to be stupid

Nigerians dont realise what is going on, do they?

On the International front, we are back to the days where the Nigerian regime knows that they are three superpowers supporting them. Biden, is Buhari's person. He and Obama brought Buhari into power. The United Kingdom of course supports the Northern part of Nigeria. And China is in love with totalitarian regimes.
Buhari can kill those protesters and NOTHING will happen.

Out of curiosity, why do those folks in the bold support Buhari? Even Obama - a biracial man.

1. Foreign Policy reasons. A strong Nigeria, is a terrible outcome for France and its Western partners, including the United Kingdom and the United States. Nigeria being the "superpower" in West Africa and by extension, Africa, would mean commanding military, political and economic influence outside her shores. France and the United States, for instance, would prefer in a situation of instability in Mali or CAR, they can come in, sell weapons, keep and "maintain the peace", build bases, etc. A strong Nigeria would forestall this possibility, as it would be Nigeria moving in at the behest of Mali and CAR.
2. Still on Foreign Policy, a weak Nigeria, fighting internal crisis would be unable to attract Nigerian intellectuals within the west. When Obj and then GEJ were in power, a lot of Nigerian intellectuals, especially within tech, left Ireland, Germany, the United States, back to Nigeria. This weakened the tech industries in these countries. They are aware that Buhari would ruin Nigeria's economy, hence he is preferred to anyone who will build the economy.
3. Nigeria being a Failed State, is an exciting economic proposition for Western powers. Finally, they have a large country where they can move in and sell their weapons. Where they can move in and establish AFRICOM base. Djibouti at the Horn of Africa is an excellent base, but insufficient as the Chinese are there. Nigeria would be an excellent base to finally put some US boots in Africa's heartland- permanently.

I can go on and on.... But it is essentially neocolonialism masked as Foriegn Policy. The West might pontificate a lot about loving democracy, but in reality, they prefer to deal with a controllable despot in states within the Global South. It is when the despot becomes uncontrollable and independent (e.g Ghadaffi) or starts loving China (e.g Mugabe) that they want to take him out.

Wahala dey o

Based on your post, dividing Nigeria won't be easy o unless a full blown war erupts. On the other hand, sometimes I criticise this new leftist wokeness in the west but based on explanations of yours and others on how the west have weakened Sub-Saharan African countries, I'm all for the perceived destruction of western civilisation. I really do appreciate the rise of China tbh.

The West wouldnt want Nigeria to be divided. It would lead to having a Yoruba-side and an Igbo-side which can and will compete with the West and its interests in West Africa.
They also wouldnt want a Nigeria engaged in a full blown civil-war as this would lead to new migrant boats arriving the shores of Europe. They struggled to cope with the other edition from the Middle East.
They would prefer a Nigeria, busy with internal chaos, but managing to stay afloat and keep her citizens within its borders. This isnt sustainable long-term, but Western interests, unless economic, think little about long-term implications (e.g Libya).

Finally, the rise of China is good for multipolar world, to balance the power of the United States. However, China will not just be happy playing second fiddle to the West. They will and do have long-term plans of leading a unipolar world and frankly, they would be a terrible replacement of the United States. The US is a democracy; China is a communist, despotic power. You dont want the later leading the world, trust me.
