Please don't come to nairaland and begin to ask silly questions or shifting blame on Buhari ask your governor in your state what do they use the money for most especially Delta and River state.

Let me ask from Akeredolu my state governor Oga white bead man please come and account for the allocation you are receiving from federal government I can see why you were bragging that no body can separate Ondo state from Nigeria because you are directly benefiting from evil and wickedness of disintegrated country

Yet they top the unemployment list https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/449161-unemployment-imo-akwa-ibom-rivers-still-nigerias-worst-cases.html

Most Nigerians in the rural area engage in subsistence farming (though most are living below poverty) which according to NBS is Full time Employment.

Now oil exploration have devastated their Land, they can't farm. their fishermen now go far into the Atlantic to fish because most rivers are contaminated.

However, i don't know wat Imo state is doing there cheesy

Akwa-Ibom took over oil wells from Cross River State. I wonder the insanity of someone saying Cross River State does not produce oil?God will punish Akpabio the slave master in APC who ceded 78 oil wells to Akwa Ibom. Wicked man!

For those who don't know, Niger Delta States are 8 in all (Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Delta, Bayelsa, Edo, Ondo, Imo and Abia). Next time, don't display your stupidity by asking if Imo and Abia States have crude oil.

BTW, what are these governors doing with all this money? undecided undecided

See DELTA always earning massively without anything to show for it.

I belive it will be better to have a separate administrator to manage all these extra funds for Oil-producing regions.

The politicians are just stealing the money.

Its so SAD

From this we can see that Imo and Abia state produce oil while Cross River doesn't. When we include cross River in Biafra some halfwits will start saying Igbos are dragging cross River because of oil. Imhotep

Political correctness does no one any good on the long run.
The ceding of Cross River State's oil wells to Akwa Ibom happened under a PDP controlled federal government of Jonathan with both the loser Cross River State and the gainer Akwa Ibom State under the PDP when it happened, and the loss of oil-rich Bakassi Peninsula also happened under the Obasanjo-led PDP. In essence Cross River State lost all its oil wealth through PDP both at state and federal levels at a time APC had not been dreamt of let alone being formed.

This blame should not only go to Akpabio but to Goodluck Jonathan he was incharge when all the Oil wells in Cross- River state was ceded to Akwa-Ibom.

you are the one displaying your stupidity on the net. the name Niger Delta is not based on oil producing states but is a region in the southern part of Nigeria.

This is why I am 100% convinced that Nigeria does not need any political restructuring. It is for the people to bring their best to the table and engage these leaders to give quality leadership. Delta State has gone through 4 transitions from Western region to Mid-west to Bendel and now Delta state yet it is still backward in terms of quality leadership and followership! This is the same state that went to court to deny that money was stolen from it by HE Chief Ibori yet the citizens, even Mr Keyamo, Sen Omo-Agege etc kept quiet and did not challenge this in court. Visit www.freestuffsng.com for latest free stuffs in Nigeria.

Huge lie from the pit of hell. Wish i had time i'd have drafted a good response to this.

However, if we'd Restructured Nigeria a long time ago, Boko Haram would've been nipped in the bud because Borno State police would've arrested and prosecuted the members before they had the chance to acquire sophisticated arms to challenge a one time Africas best Army.
The North West states would've stopped the bandits because because the different State police with their highly trained SWAT Squads would've collaborated to wipe them away.

There would be no room for Pirates and militants in the SS. Cultism that's now a pandemic wouldn't have been a problem because of State Police.

Nnamdi Kanu would've been in an office in Abia State or even a care giver in UK if we'd restructured Nigeria. We'd have no ESN, IPOB, MASSOB, etc.

This is for security alone, i no get time to talk of economic advantages of a restructured Nigeria

For God's sake we would not have been talking about COWS in the 21st century if Nigeria was Restructured and practicing True Federalism.

How can we get quality leadership with the type of Inec and Electoral Act we have? As you can see, the present FG and NASS are not interested in Ammendind, passing and signing into law Electoral act.

Forgive my typos biko
