Well said. "What this stupid bill means is that even the private Christian universities built/managed with their monies would now have to "accommodate" Muslims and hijabis against their set up rules."

I just hope that bill will not see the light of the day.

Classic depiction of the thought process of a musulumi.
Exactly. When they proposed Sharia it was "meant to guide muslims " and wont affect non muslims. Now it is "respect our religion", "obey our laws"
If you go to youtube and search for the masked arab, that guy will breakdown their teachings. They don't mean non muslims well at all

If you're referring to the recent crisis in Kwara, then your assertion is wrong because the state government is insisting on its ownership of the schools. If the govt decides to hand such schools back to the christian missionaries, they might decide to impose their dress code. But even that might be contested in the courts of law. Muslims who choose to study in christian schools like Covenant etc will have to obey the rules there.
did they build the school to claim ownership?

P I B bill is planning to be as old as Nigeria yet not passed. This is the type of bill that thrives in a retrogressive society.

The Bill can easily be passed. Even Sharia criminal justice system can easily be included in the 1999 constitution.
Because the new 36 states and Abuja political structure created by northern military dictators makes Arewa representatives over populate the National Assembly.
Land mass or population is never used as criterion to proliferate too many states in an area with larger land mass or population, in a country formed by different regions. There should have been equal number of states for the three regions that formed Nigeria.

The political structure can no longer be changed in the National Assembly.

Split of Nigeria into more manageable countries is the only answer now, after all, Arewa political and religious leaders had since carved the boundary of their Arewa Islamic Sharia Republic when they adopted unconstitutional Islamic Sharia criminal justice system, but Arewa gets stuck to one Nigeria because of lucre.

This is where Benue, Taraba, Adamawa, Plateau and other Christian legislators from Gombe, Nassarawa, Southern Kaduna should show where they stand.

You mean those subjugated places?

Taraba where the governor is a weakling or Southern Kaduna which has been under siege from the dwarf of a governor who chose a Muslim as his deputy, departing from the tradition of Muslim-Christian governor/deputy governor or Gombe where in a predominately Christian village, the Fulani governor imposed a traditional ruler who is a Muslim against the people's will. Same Gombe where a woman was denied a position not because she was not qualified but because she is a Christian or Benue whose governor escaped by the whiskers when he headed to his farm only for a Fulani militia to be behind the ordeal or Plateau state where the current deputy speaker of the House of Representatives is a Muslim - something which did not happen before. Same man is from a region that was predominately Christian during the '60s only to be dominated by Fulanis and whose governor is a modern day Judas and traitor? Or Nasarawa/Adamawa where the Christian population has been subdued and made economically and politically redundant?

One day Northern Nigerian Christian will learn that they have a choice between their lives and lands, both of which can be lost but only one of which can be saved. If not, they become Sub-Saharan Yazidis.
Re: House Of Representatives’ Provocative Hijab Bill - Punch Editorial Board by Gerrard59(m): 12:42am On Apr 01, 2021
If Nigeria does not divide before 2050, I see the country being Islamised because when newspapers mention "...the largely Christian South...", they forget that there is an almost (if not to the Muslim favour) 50/50 religion divide in the South West. Which means the vast majority of Nigeria's Christians are in Eastern Nigeria. Add this to the negligible and almost dying Christian population in Northern Nigeria, you will see that Nigeria will soon have a huge Muslim majority and by then, you know what that means.

This has been their plan and they luckily had Buhari, a known bigot, to push it.
The South isnt united; the Christians are still struggling with unity. If States like Plateau can line up behind Buhari and elect a Buhari and APC in 2015, in a Plateau State where they have tried colonising Jos North for years with violence, then they are not ready.

US did, mind you not all did. That is US. The United states and European has done more to Muslims than what Nigerian government to Christians particularly in North.

This is Nigeria, you cannot force your religion on people. I can't take it from a Christian government telling Islamic school to allow Christians wear cross etc to the school. Unless they are mutual agreement by both sides. Otherwise, stay your lane.

We cannot allow hijab and herdsmen ruin us at same time.

Force religion on you? Were Hijab forced on your Christian folks?

Hijab will ruin you? Explain. If it'll ruin you in the sense that Muslim Female uses it as part of their dressing, believe me it'll ruin your entire life. YOU AND YOUR PEOPLE IN 100FOLDS CAN'T STOP MUSLIM WOMEN FROM WEARING HIJAB.
