You guys just come online to type rubbish, the tesla needs DC to charge not AC and most generators have DC outlets, it just might take more time using a smaller generator but it will charge.

It can. Electric cars Have a 230V mains adapter. Just That You Will Have to wait For 7 hours or so From empty to full Charge.
