Unfortunately, their opinion does not count.

You want to form your own country and at the same time, you want to hold important positions in a country you want to leave.

Do you understand what 5% means?

It means the eastern region contributes to only 5% of votes.

A presidential aspirant can win an election without the help of the east.

It is hard to sideline someone that has a say.

Ohaneze and my eastern brothers do not have a say here.
.
So,the easterners don't have say and don't deserve any meaningful position..?,okay.well..let the greater ratio of hungry and poverty striken hausa and Yourubas keep supporting the few/minute wealthy ones ruling them.its a pity many keep suffering and smiling.. supporting nonsense in the name of party.Generations to come will definitely heap curses on the low mentally deranged fools that sold their birthright and future in the name of tribalism.nonsense.. angry

PMB stated explicitly that votes from ibos constituted 5% of his total votes. That does not include those of his runners-up. Every rationale Nigerian knows of ibos hatred for PMB. Even the 5% was massive from all indications. Cheers

It is the Igbos that are not in tune.

One part wants to secede while the other wants relevant positions in the country.

When it comes to voting, they rarely come out to vote.

Did you see the last statistic from Abia state election?

3% of total voters came out to vote.

How do you want to occupy important positions when your people do not have a say in politics?

Rubbish talk.

You would have given a better hard tackle by attacking INEC for refusing to use NIN for election.

Bend INEC to use NIN, this way we fight better. This statement is just for newspaper headline.

No just Igbo were sidelined. You do not blame Fulani for not taking chances. Why should they appoint you knowing that you'd be a clog in their wheel of domination? Cornering all security apparatus, judiciary, finance and economy plus the electoral body is essential to perpetuate power and totally subdue all Nigerians. Ohaneze should stop making noise. This is what every sensible person saw in 2014 and warned Nigerians. It is stupidity to cry over spilled milk. Rather think of how to defend yourself from their foot soldiers cutting wide swats in tears and blood. For the rest of the idio-ts from the South hoping you'll be president in 2023, berra invest in prayer and fasting or more coffins. Mumu Africans with zero strategic insight.

Per the bolded; are you suggesting that if Jonathan had won in 2015 he would have remained life president or handed over to a Southerner if he chose not to remain president for life? Isn't it a Fulani man dictated to him by the PDP zoning formula that he would have still handed power over to on completion of his second term in 2019? So how exactly would GEJ's victory in 2015 have permanently prevented the Fulanis from getting to power again to perpetrate their alleged domination agenda? I need honest answers. Thank you.

This is not the first Fulani man to rule Nigeria. Nevertheless, there are Fulani men and there are Fulani men. Just the way there are Yoruba men and there are Yoruba men. Our problem as Africans is that we are incapable of strategic insight. Even an enemy without needs people inside to accomplish an objective. That the person they got is your blood brother makes it even easier. Let it be a parable since we never really are capable of seeing beyond what is not obvious. It's a fine African tragedy. Please do not ask me to explain further.

Even the CP, Uche Anozie was promoted days before his eventual retirement. They retire at 60.

So as at today, 7/4/21... No AIG from the SE geopolitical zone.

1. Recruitment is part of it, as most in the SE don't leave the University and say they want to join the Police. There is almost no enlightenment in that area.

2. Politricks involved will almost always not favour the SE. Anything from CP above, is intense lobbying. Their coursemates simply lobby.
Political leaders in the SE are very good at speaking grammar more than the English people when they get to Abuja.
They often will promote them in the twilight of their careers.

3. Most of the officers were simply caught up by age. By the time they get to the CP-position, they are already in their late 50s and nearing retirement.

The Igbo who is DIG will be leaving by June next year, and he was just made DIG Dec last year.

The conclusion of the whole matter is the predicament of an enterprising, resourceful and very hardworking people caged by the nomadic lousy and lazy people in a country they are never happy to belong. It is a forced marriage between two strange bed fellows where the other partner was held captive in slavery to the other. It is now either they play by the rule set by their master or die in slavery and the YORUBA elites are watching and happy .

If Igboho that is uncivilized, not refined and not highly educated has not risen up to challenge the oppression in the land, no YORUBA elite, Monarch or politicians has the courage to challenge the oppression. If Igboho has not acted within his mental ability, nothing would have happened. I have witnessed Yorubas been slapped and beating at Sasa, Ibadan since year 2000. I have seen them being cheated in that area without any reaction because Yorubas believed they will not get fair hearing at Police Station. Yorubas have no voice in that area. What was witnessed during the last riot at Sasa was the courage awakened by Igboho bravery that led to revenge on the killing of the Yoruba man. This action has been suppressed by some leaders in Yoruba land, but the effect of the Civil war on the IBOS cannot be suppressed . All the predicament of the IBOS regarding promotion from CP to AIG and DIG have its root in the years lost to Civil war, the psychological effects of Civil war and years of rebuilding their businesses .

This game will come to an end one day. The predicament of the IBOS and South South people is from the YORUBA elites and politicians. The IBOS and South South people in Yoruba land should be prepared to support any future action that would be led by the Yoruba youth.

This Elders' Forum is always very funny.

You have 2 APC Governors yet the SE had no AIG until January...So do you want the President to pick a CP promoted to AIG in January to be IGP?

Even the only AIG promoted, Uche Anozie is retired, leaving the SE without an AIG.

Now is the time to start lobbying for more CPs to move up.

You become proactive rather than reactive.

I don't know if to say that they keep chasing shadows instead of the main thing.

Even currently, how many Igbos are recruited into the Police force?

Thank you very much.

They won't provide enlightenment for people to get in.
They won't urge their Govs to go through back-channels, when it comes to promotion.

As at Dec....the SW had 1 AIG, SE none.
As at March 2021...the SW has 5, the SE has none.

Their own is only to issue statements. I don't take them seriously.

To be frank, how does a Fulani president trust Igbos -who are busy killing their fellow uniformed tribesmen all because of secession- with the post of IGP? Isn't that quite strange and just as tall an order?

This IGP was the second highest ranking officer before his appointment.

You move from CP to AIG and the Police Act states that an IGP can only be picked from those within the rank of AIG or DIG.

There is no SEner who is AIG presently. The focus should be on recruitment where the SE will definitely be disadvantaged because of the number of States and focus on the politricks of promotion.

That is where the SE leaders and indeed, Ohanaeze should beam their searchlights on.

There's an igbo Dig who will retire same year as current acting IGP. His name is Joseph Egbunike.

Pls i was about asking, if there's no igbo AIG or is it possible to just bring a junior officer ahead of the senior ones and make him IG as they want. Cos i believe these new Aig must b the highest ranking police officer.
I think the problem here is southern as less officers and the period d northern people took d military serious we were after office jobs so now the deficiency is showing.

There's an igbo DIG who's next in rank to IGP

The Police Act states that every geopolitical zone must have a DIG. So, it is shared by Geopolitical zone amongst the arms of the Force Structure.

Because, the SE had no AIG...Joseph Egbunike, a CP was moved straight to DIG (without passing through the AIG rank) to replace Celestine Okoye who retired on December 22, 2020.

Egbunike himself will retire on the 4th of June, 2022...
The Current Acting IGP will retire March 01, 2023.

I was speaking about AIG not DIG
