edimalo:Our transformer can sometimes be quite erratic. It always blows something if it rains. Sometimes it takes 3 days to restore fully. If the transformer is ok. We get light from 8AM to 5PM daily. The light is then switched on at 8pm again to 4am in the morning. I close at 6 so I use gen for only 1 hr under normal circumstances. In this scenario I use N5000 worth of electric bill weekly. |

I got permission from the FCCPC team to post this. Do you know that there is a dedicate phone no that you can use in reporting your electricity wahala to FCCPC? you can call the phone no during work hours or WhatsApp or SMS outside work hours, I will post the number as picture because of the bo ts. I am sure you will get justice if you are cheated by your disco and you have your documentation right. Be truthful with the FCCPC team with your information and you will get justice at no cost. I trust the madam that handle this issue. you can share your experience here as well to enable others learn. 1 Like

edimalo:Bro goodmorning, thanks for the update and pushing for your rights and also making people know that we can actually force a change in this country. Me and my bro are living in a self con apartment in portharcourt. May our bill was 11k, this was atleast commendable considering the fact that the previous bill was higher. June bill was 26k we paid 13k, this was after i complain to the marketer that the bill is too much considering the fact that nothing change in the supply of power between these months. Yesterday the worst happened, they brought bill and when i checked it, it was 57k... For a self con apartment.. Meanwhile there is a postpaid metre in the compound but they probably don't want to take readings from it citing directives from authority.. How can i go about this issue? I met one of their employees and the guy said they have stopped issuing and receiving payment for prepaid meters. This is what we r facing here |

poiZon: sorry my brother, complaining to marketer is a mistake and has no effect, He won't do anything as he is part of the people that brought that decision to you. Also paying 13k out of the 26k is like telling them I agree to what you brought but I can only pay 13k out of it, I will advice you write them officially and allow them to acknowledge a copy of your letter. Also write to Nerc in your area, which I believe is Port-Harcourt Forum Office No.15 Okuru Road, Off Peter Odili road Adjacent Golf Estate , Off Ordinance Road Port Harcourt, Rivers State Email address: phforum@nerc.gov.ng it is better you write a letter to them as well and allow them to acknowledge a copy of the letter but this is after 15 days you have writing to PHEDC and you didn't get a favorable response. also chat or call the FCCPC people I put their contact above to get their response regarding your case. |

Does anyone know how much these people IKEDC truly charge per unit ? From my calculations 107.311naira per unit Paying 16,000naira for 149.1kwh that hardly last a week |

joshbill: You need to find out the service band and tarriff class of your meter location. Next, you need to contact IE CustomerCare and find out if there is any debt on the Meter. If there is, it is usually deducted in installments at every token purchase until the debt is wiped off. None of the DISCOs charges that much for a kWh. 1 Like

To know your band, you can send an email to them to find out the band you are placed or check your last post paid bill if it is not to long, you moved to prepaid. |

supajizy: I am currently waiting for a MAP payment code to procure another prepaid meter. Application 1st of April Survey 29th of June Send a mail to customercare@ikejaelectric.com and remember to include name on account, account number and ARN in all correspondence. |
