Nice topic. For me the only reason I watched it is because I Play MK while growing up, asides that, I didn’t really feel the story line. It was like they just wanted to do MK movie

I was told it was shit so I had really low expectations but when I saw the movie, I was wowed.

As a fan of the game, I really connected.

We've always known Lui Kang to be the main character in every Mortal Kombat franchise. But that wasn't the case in mortal kombat 2021, he was grossly underrated and that was my only disappointment.

Did anyone notice how Scorpion understood and spoke only Japanese, but then managed to blurt out that famous line “GET OVER HERE!” in English?

Overall, fun movie. I particularly enjoyed the combat scenes between Subzero and Scorpion. Story line could have been better though. Looking forward to a sequel

Lui Kang main character(Protagonist \Actor)....yes replaced by a fcccking Cole Young..who directed this

But Sub Zero remains the most popular character as far as MK is concern.
