Sometimes it’s okay to talk anyhow….. However, lemme ask you. Have you ever read terms and conditions when buying a SIM card, or registering on any network…… Have you called the customer service line and heard ‘’ this call may be recorded for training purposes”, did you end the call after hearing that?! Take the networks to court design106: 2 Likes 1 Share |

WaffenSS:ok MR too know I forgot it’s your primary school lesson note police hired someone to interpret into English. A guy have been tracked and got arrested because he was watching porn in his room in an Arab country.when you call customer care of tecos they tell you “your call maybe recorded for quality and training purposes” I once had a case where a friend was kidnapped and some of the kidnappers arrested and my friend freed, when I was trying to dig to the bottom of the case the police in charge explained all the processes involved to get their voice conversations. from ministry of Justice to courts.... I withdrew when I couldn’t afford what it would cost. From my days in police I knew about it that’s why I requested for it then. It’s not something the general public know but if you’re not too proud to admit your ignorance I tell you the tecos have your voice records. 3 Likes |

Am I missing something. What I read initially was she was lured, raped , killed and buried in a shallow grave. Did an autopsy show vital organs were removed or any part of her body missing? Is it more than a pyscho with an uncontrollable sexual urge who cant take no for an answer or cant go pay an ashewo for sex. The police should give justice. No one should be above the law. New IG use this to start to show change - positive change is possible in Nigeria |

chipzidar:They not only keep audio records but even your texts and other miscellaneous keystrokes are logged as well. This has been going on for a long time even among other Telecommunications providers. The truth is nothing done over the phone is secret. Ask any customer care agent or any good programmer. |

Xpol: I swear you and your ilk are irredeemably dumb. Customer care agents are required to record the call for archive and training purposes, and they're required to disclose that fact to you, and that's why they tell you. In some countries privacy laws require any party recording a call to disclose to the other party for their consent. If you people think a country's telecommunications system and infrastructure includes recording conversations of citizens, government agents, business people, lawyers, doctors, law enforcement, and everyone using that system, then you're nuts. 2 Likes |

Xpol: Only a certain level of stupidity will even remotely consider the possibility that anyone will allow a society where people's calls are freely recorded. Imagine your government ministers, senators, defense officials, doctors and lawyers having confidential conversation which is being recorded by a private and foreign entity such as MTN. 1 Like |

I had a case in 2018 and went to mtn to get a call record, they told me only commissioner of police can authorize that, so getting it is very possible, they should meet commissioner of police, if he refused, then he's among the big fish involved in this case 1 Like |

WaffenSS:It’s very clear you’re into shady dealings, you’re so scared to digest that MTN and Cos have the records for all those evil calls you’ve been making if not it wouldn’t have been difficult for you to contribute your own opinion on this issue without insulting people. Don’t worry relax your mind they hardly release it without any threat to national security or a very very strong case. But surely the wind go blow open your nyansh |

WaffenSS:No body has time to listen to your calls or read ur messages but yes they record your calls and if you don't know that yet, then I don't know else to say to ya. https://www.nigeriacommunicationsweek.com.ng/ncc-orders-telcos-to-monitor-keep-records-of-calls-others-on-networks/ Or probably you should take your time to read ur T&C's whenever you get a new sim and understand what "3rd party policy" is all about. |

Blackfriday: They. Don't. Record. Calls. Period. Get that into your thick, seemingly impervious skull. If they kept records then there'll be zero crimes in the world. Why did the US blacklist Huawei? Because they believe they'll use their equipment to eavesdrop on US citizens and government. You think the US will bother if recording calls was the norm? How can you conceive that recording citizen's calls is a normal thing? Did you even consider the amount of storage required to store billions of calls? And to what end? Your link is about the NCC asking telcos to KEEP records of calls, i.e. call and sms logs, not actually RECORD calls. Damn, many Nigerians are dumb. 1 Like |

Calls are not recorded by any telecommunication company anywhere in the world. But your line can be tapped, followed, and monitored if there are any reasons for that. Hence, why it's possible for security agents to track a particular number, eavesdrop on his conversations, get his communications, etc. 1 Like |

But there were terms and conditions you didn’t border to read, which you just accepted. Part of the conditions was that they can store your data in whatever forms they like and use the data for certain things. Many a time, we all click on ACCEPT when signing up for app or downloading a software or registering on a website. We never bordered to read thru those long and tiny terms and conditions. So it would be tough to sue network providers that they are using your data for what you didn’t ask them to use it for. design106: |

WaffenSS:ask yourself in advanced country where there is cctv camera everywhere why are people still breaking shops, robbing and stealing. Do you think Government and telcos want you to know that that criminal deals you’re making is being recorded? Even a third party can hack your phone and record all your voice calls not to talk of the telcos that sell there sim to you and give you access to use their service. Even in Ghana same process was used by the police to arrest some kidnap suspect. If you know anyone in that country ask him to help you verify what the police call Atta mills bills(phone records) I know your type always proving know it all and not ready to learn. I’ll stop replying your insults with another insult to prove to you I’m more matured. But whether you publicly accept or not I know you’re now convinced but base on the kind of person you are you’ll continue your strong head |

Xpol:I seriously marvel at the little boy ignorance. This Telcos do this and they have the backing of the law for it, it's no news but they can never think of releasing such documents (cos it's a breach of privacy agreement they sigh on to), unless it concern national security even at that, it will take the highest law authority to issue a subpoena for it to be gotten but do all of this Telcos have record of your conversations?.......YES. They should ask themselves, how all this loan companies in Nigeria have all the information about them once you sign on to use their service, from your contacts list, to your call logs, to your messages....once you agree to their T&C's, your informations are immediately synchronized with the telephone number you use in making the loan application. |
