I remember recently one nigerian airline that got problem with american authority, the airline could not explain how they got money to acquire the planes. Clearly the money from their planes came from corruption money.

I strongly believe that the guy raised funds through crowdfunding or encouraged some venture capitalists and angel investors to believe in him. That's the only genuine way he could have raised such funds to chase his dream.
