So you just invented this right? I need to know, is it JW teaching that Jesus could eat with Pharisees but he commanded his followers not to do the same? The way you guys insult Jesus ehh. So basically you are saying Jesus Christ does not practice what he preached.
This is the second time you are saying Jesus Christ did not practice what he preached. I remember you told me that Jesus Christ did not love the world.

Ọmọ i did not tell you i quoted Jesus directly:

Read John 17:8-9 in any Bible of your choice.

As for eating with Pharisees they were setting a trap for Jesus but he warned his disciples not to try the same that's why you can't find anywhere in the Bible that Jesus' disciples ate with Pharisees! wink

There are 2 choses here. 1. Jesus is a hypocrite who does not practice what he teaches. 2. You misunderstood the scriptures.
I choose 2. You completely misunderstood the scriptures. Jesus Christ is not a hypocrite.
Jesus Christ never commanded us to do something that he could not do. That is why he is the way. We follow his examples. If he ate with the Pharisees, it means you failed to understand the scriptures.

All the practical application are in the verses I quoted. Or don't you believe the bible anymore. I no dey qoute Quran 4 you my guy.

Satan quotes God's word nah {Matthew 4:6 compare to Psalms 91:11-12} but what about the practical application of what he quoted?
There was never a time faithful servants of God intentionally endangered their lives to test God {Matthew 4:7 compare to Deuteronomy 6:16} so Jesus can present God's servants who applied what he's saying practically but Satan can't. Why? Because Satan hates anyone obeying God's word so he can't present any practical application of what he's quoting! wink

Oga stop the distraction. One thing at a time.
Now back to the discussion.

And he said, A certain man had two sons:

12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.

13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.

14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.

15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.

16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.

17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!

18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,

19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.

20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.

22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:

23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:

24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

25 Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing.

26 And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.

27 And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.

28 And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him.

29 And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:

30 But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.

31 And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.

32 It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.

Thank God for the Holy Spirit that a book was written titled "Act Of Apostles" at least Jesus practiced so many things that we can't do because he's a god who can read the minds of his host {Luke 7:39-40} but whatever his first century disciples practiced surely it's meant to be taken as norms for all his disciples! wink

Which one is wrong quotation. Let me quote it word for word to prove your lies.

And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

You are not the one to teach God how to act. The story of the lost sheep tells it all. He lost a sheep and went all out looking for it. Leaving the rest. Learn wisdom from that story. The kingdom rejoices when a single lost soul is found.

Was I quoting from the dictionary before. What does destroying sinner have to do with our topic sir. Everyone must ultimately die. Did Moses not also die? God would finally take all our lives so that has nothing to do with the present topic. At his own time and way, he would take back the live he gave us. This does not mean he stopped loving us. I don't think you're OK.

Jesus told his disciples to beware of food with Pharisees {Matthew 16:6} they later discovered that it's spiritual food that he was talking about {Matthew 16:12} so how do you think they will eat at all with those against whom their master gave a clear warning?

Jesus' disciples never ate with Pharisees so that's why they could say we should not eat with backsliders! 2John 10-11 wink
