So, you mean the Holy Spirit can use an unsaved man from the occult as His minister? The Holy Spirit does not only have a mind of His own, He's the Master, and Leader of every genuine Church. Yes, He can act in ways you don't expect but for bringing a servant into His Vineyard, He already stated that 'God heareth not sinners.'

Why does the Bible say 'Try all spirits'? You mean if Guru Mahraji starts a church today, you'll attend without minding whether he has given his life to Christ genuinely or not? He immediately becomes 'your chief cornerstone' because the Holy Spirit has a mind of His own.

Even Paul received a rejection treatment from the Apostles when he tried to join them in Jerusalem. It took Barnabas to tell them that he has met the Lord, and then after hearing his personal testimony of salvation, Paul recounted in Ephesians 1, that they gave him the 'free hand of fellowship.' God has never left His church without a rule to follow in accepting men and woman as bonafide co-labourers in the vineyard.

I hope to actually justify TB Joshua. Since you're his follower, you owe the world a responsibility to clarify the misunderstanding about him if any, the same way Barnabas did for Saul of Tarsus.

Who am to clearify the position of Prophet?

Only a Prophet can validate another prophet.
A pastor is not a Prophet
An evangelist can not function as a prophet
There are levels to these kind of things.
It might be impossible for your type to understand how God moves. Even John the Baptist was questioning Jesus's status as messiah. But you want us to do Barnabas and saul on nairaland...even if I write one million articles about tb Joshua you will never believe. The only way you will, is if God grants you a revelation. But don't expect it, it may not come. Those who have had the opportunity have confirmed already.

Except you're an hypocrite, the Holy Spirit doesn't use unsaved people. If you're not sure of the conversion of a known spiritist, you dare not make a defense of him.

Your words above, saying "Only a Prophet can validate another prophet" shows how ignorant you are. So, which Prophet helped you validate TB Joshua before you made him your Lord and savior?

Or do you mean, the Holy Spirit will use:

1. Someone who's not saved?
2. Someone can start doing the work of God without the call of God?
3. Anyone who prophesys and performs miracles is validated to be a minister of the gospel?

You better get sincere with yourself, and stop this hypocrisy.

Really? So tb Joshua is unsaved. By what authority did you determine that?

I already asked you to tell me what he told you about his encounter with Christ after he had been known to practice occultism in the 80s. You replied that the Holy Spirit has a mind of his own and that people like me wouldn't understand. I'm therefore asking you if the Holy Spirit can use an unsaved person, since the Holy Spirit has a mind of His own.

Whether TB Joshua was saved or not is between him and God. But it would be unwise of me as a human being knowing his antecedents to follow him without first asking 'Have you given your life to Christ?'. He never shared his encounter with Christ with anyone! This is a testimony he would doubtless have shared if he actually had an encounter. Instead, he was talking about his father and mother!

Yes TB Joshua was unsaved up till the day before he died. Whether he found grace to repent or not before his last breath is known to God.

TB Joshua was a proponent of Chrislam - a blend of Islam and Christianity - and Shamanism before he tactfully dropped his mantra about Allah.

The above is common knowledge to those who knew his beginning as a Shamman.

The problem with us as human beings is that we think God is the source or power behind every good deed. This may explain why people think of TB Joshua as a man of God.

I am sure there is no supporter of TB Joshua who can give a Scriptural description of a false prophet.

@NobleRace God bless you for the time and sound Bible knowledge demonstrated on this thread.

A Salvation Story is so fundamental to Christian living and Service.
