It's hard to believe that the ACN is not a regional party.

DaLover:

No it musn't, if we all agree that no one is better than the other,
some may be lucker to have experienced education first, or be blessed with natural
resources, but that still does't make them better,

If that understanding of equality is observed by most, than there shall be peaceful progress.

Chines you have to understand the discussion in the context of the title and the underlying issues,

Well the discussion is quite obvious, don't need to repeat it,
The underlying issue is that proponents of the ACN are saying that their party is the one to
lead us out of the mess called nigeria, and we on the other hand are saying capital NO,
not with ethnic brand of politics, and definately not with false mis-representations of performance
by the ACN. Especially when it has been proven beyond doubt that ACN is just as corrupt as PDP,
but with tribal afiliations.

IMO what is required is a party that can carry all along, has a clear vision on how to rapidly industrial
the country and make it productive, not all these populist policies of free this, free that, things that
are unsustainable and depend on oil revenue, so far no party has been able to do that,
But for people to want to use tricks to bambozule me to a tribal party is just outrightly shameful.

I believe that ACN in the next election will be able to state if its a regional party or a National one. Now that they are controlling SW, if they can get more states in the next election then we can say with facts that ACN have stepped up to be a National Party. But for now let us not turn this to Libya

OKAY. let's humor these ppl and declare ACN a Yoruba party. ok. what next? ACN is Yoruba. what are you going to do about it? nothing. does that stop ACN from doing whatever they want to do? NO. the smart ppl like Ngige who are not Yoruba will continue to join and run on ACN platform.

any ethnic group that wants to form their own party is free to do so. wait. some have done so and failed miserably. Yoruba DON'T CARE.
TINUBU is a thief. FASHOLA is a rogue. ACN is fascist. Yoruba don't care. Anyone who is wise and perceptive would know that Yoruba don't obsess over other ppl in Nigeria. We aren't build that way. That is the trait of a self assured ppl.

If ACN screws up, my people will dump them like a hot plate and vote for a more promising party be it ANPP, PPA, CPC or APGA. Speaking of APGA, now that's a real ethnic party. they don't even bother to venture out of their base like the ACN does. But there's also nothing wrong with that. Let APGA do what is in APGA's best interest. No one is complaining. If APGA does decide to venture out, let them come to the SW and compete. We will vote for them if they offer something better. Why limit yourself? There shouldn't be any big deal about this.

1. Why did the party win an overwhelming majority of the votes in south west?
2. Why the aggressive scramble for the take-over of ondo state from the labor party?
3. Why joyous mood of the south westerners after the elections?
