Oga Nigeria is not even among the top 25 cattle and beef producing countries and these countries dont travel fro Bombay to Goa to feed their livestocks, every single one of those countries practice ranching.
With all the billions of dollars budgeted up north ,is it that difficult to practice ranching, with the vast lands?

Una never really talk what you want in peoples lands, devils in human form.

Where is the billions of dollars sent to the north.

In terms of government allocations, northern states receive the lowest allocations.

Ranching is expensive, if ranching is practised, i promise you, you wont be able to buy cow meat.

When northerns come to the south, we obey your religious laws.

Obey the religious laws of the north too.

Which one is religious laws?

Is that part of the Nigerian constitution?

What are you even saying? So, Uruguay,Paraguay, Poland etc that are among the top 20 cattle exporters is richer than northern Nigeria? See, nobody is saying construction of train tracks and exploration for oil at the Lake Chad basin is not good, but at this moment and with the incredible and nauseating poverty in the north,it would have been better ,if those funds were pushed into ranching, that will get a lot of unemployed almajiri youths off the clutches of terrorists due to hunger.

Find attached the top 15 countries exporting cattle and see if Nigeria is there....enough of all this noise about all these malnourished cows.

The government of Nigeria brought a good idea of creating a cow route for herders, you people are busy crying foul.

The constitution of Nigeria, guarantee freedom of movement and trade, anyone can travel anywhere to live and trade.

If a igbo, yoruba businessman can go to the north to carry out his business, nothing stops a fulani man from carrying out his business in the south.

Stopping fulani people from moving and trading their cows from one part of Nigeria to another is an attack on their fundamental human right, if you can travel and do business anywhere in Nigeria, the fulani man should be also be able to do business anywhere.

You are all shouting fundamental human right when the government banned Twitter but you go about banning others from their own fundamental human right, that is hypocrisy.

Note: Fulani pay tax and rent, every cows transported to the south pay tax, from local governments tax to land rent and also tax per each cows.

Which sane country in this era allows the movement of animals in such large numbers? Even countries that allow pets to be taken around, have policies like "scoop the poo" who will scoop these animals poo?

Empirically, studies have shown that animals in ranches are healthier and better, when compared to *stressed* animals moved from one place to the other.

Interestingly, the various tribes you mentioned don't just go to anybodies land and start doing business, they buy/rent or get lease for the properties they intend to use for business.

Irrespective of how this is looked at, the best method to adopt is ranching. Let them buy/rent lands and confine their animals to the land.

Maybe we should also ban people selling spare parts in the north on safety issues.

How about the people selling drugs, lets ban them on safety issue.

You want a special rule for yourself, while others should not benefit from it.

You can travel as you like for business, but others can not and we live in the same Nigeria.

When you think you’ve seen the daftest, another one will just surprise you.

Bros no one has stopped you from trading your cows in the south, they just said, no open grazing. Na wa

About the alcohol, all the Muslims in SW, have they all died? Or they are not muslims again because Iyabo sells alcohol on the other street?
Or when you guys come from the north, una Dey die throway because Chukwudi has a bar in thesame street you stay?

We don’t want open grazing in the south, buy a land, build a ranch, na business. Check and balance, if e no pay you, go do shoe maker.

You are definitely a nut head. Where were u when buhare said only God can protect nigerian /nigerien border? Where were you when he said he has cousins as nigeriens. So you want the whole Fulani in north Africa to bring their cows to southern Nigeria. Before now there has been good fulanis living amongst people of the south without qualms.

So alcohol is your point of argument. Some part of the north practice sharia and selling and buying alcohol is prohibited because of religious reasons, i am sure many southerners are doing other legitimate businesses freely, they are enjoying their rights of being Nigerians.

How come the fulanis can not enjoy their own right of being Nigerians.
How come Southerners cannot enjoy their own fundamental right of selling beer? Because from my own understanding, the business of merchandising and consumption of alcohol is not illegal in Nigerian Constitution. Or are you telling us Kano state laws supersedes the Constitution of Nigeria?

Is it only alcohol sales, the yoruba and igbos do in the north

You are typing like they don't do other businesses
There are millions of northerners doing business in the South and nobody harass them because they don't trespass their hosts ancestral lands or destroy their sources of livelihood (farming). For instance, Hausas are everywhere in the South selling suya, watermelon, cucumbers, rice, bears, provisions, etc, nobody disturb them and nobody ban their businesses.

Yeah indeed.

That is when you will hear that the ancestors said they shouldn't sell land to non indigenes
So because of that Fulanis should be killing, raping and ceasing people lands and occupying lands by force? Will you tolerate Southerners to enter Sokoto state and forcefully occupy the lands of Sokoto indigenes and attack the people when they complain?
