It Was a terrible experience.
Immediately after the covid-19 lockdown.resumed back to the office and a colleague raise alarm of lost phone. Searched everyone and everywhere. Phone no show. Next thing I'll hear, i was accused. Her reason being that "i wasn't seriously helping her do the searching the way she wanted". Thought it was a joke until evening when the husband called and told me to either bring the phone or tell him where to meet. Long story short. I had to involve the police before the matter rest o. But the depression/shame wasn't easy even till now.when ever i remember,i always pray to God to expose the thief so i can act the way i would have wanted to..

It gets to a point i was even asking myself " did you steal the phone? Where did you keep it"

2. I once live in a small hostel of 4 rooms. We were all student back then. Around 2011 during my ND days. We normally drop the front gate key to a neighbor behind our house. That unfortunate day, I came early to the hostel first. I opened the door and went straight to my room, tired. Not knowing a room has being bulged and 5k was stolen. The owner came back and he accused me, cos I was the one that opened the front gate first. He ransacked my room, called student man o war on me. The man o war came, whisked me away, sized my phone, and maltreated me in their building. I told my parents and I got connect to the Dean of students Affairs. He called them to order and asked if they had any evidence except I came to the hostel first and open the gate first, which wasn't the first time. They had none. He demanded the man o war to apologized to me and the guy was told to look for other means to find his money or challenge his roommates who knew about his money initially

The next week, I saw him doing charm. Nothing happened to me

Just now my brother accused me of stealing his money. The guy is just sick, someone I don't even talk to or have anything to do with him.

It was a funny bitter experience.

We were in 300L in the Uni then and we had a 7 AM test on a Friday morning. After the test, a female colleague sitting nxt to me went to eat so she left her bag on the seat (the lecturer was still in class at that time so she dashed out).

Lecturer left around 8.30AM or there about and next class was 9 AM. Usual thing everyone stood up for gist and the likes. This lady had not come back at this time and the guy sitting in the 3rd seat while standing up mistakenly hit her bag that was placed on the middle seat (it's a foldable chair) and everything inside it fell. Right there the bag was picked up and everything was packed inside her bag.

I also went outside to catch some gist with my friends before the 2nd Lecturers arrival. 2nd Lecture had commenced before she came back and lo and behold immediately she came back I told this lady her bag fell while she was away but we had packed the things that fell out inside her bag so she could chk if there was anything missing and probably chk the floor or something.

Monday morning whilst in class preparing for the 1st lecture of the day. This lady just walked up to where I was sitting few metres away and beckoned on me with a tone that gave me the instinct something was up.
I went to her and she strtd the whole story of an Infinix fone was in her bag and she didn't see it when she got back to her hostel in the nite.

Mehn I choke when she strtd the whole story so the next thing I asked her was but I told u ur bag fell while u were away on Friday. I expected if she had valuables in her bag that was meant to be the 1st thing to check and she didn't until nite.

This lady strtd drama that she was going to report to a lecturer blabla. I told her to pls go ahead cos the whole thing was just funny to me and I remained unperturbed.

I was in the library when I received a call from Student union Security Council that I shld report to there office that same day (students as well but if u love urself just adhere to their call)
I was very well familiar with there modus operandis so I called a class mate who apparently was their Gen Secretary at that time to inform him of what happened but he didn't pick so I sent a text but he didn't see it until I had gotten to there office.

We were at there office - questions were asked we both talked but the fools handling the case I guess were carried away because it was a lady that was involved.

The fools there seized my phone went tru all my social media app to see if I had chatted anyone in recent time that I had a fone to sell.
Those fools with the lady inclusive came to my house in town scattered my whole room to check if the fone was in my house (I allowed all of this cos I just wanted to proof to this girl I didn't take her fone- in fact I paid everyone's T-fair to my house and back to campus)

It was when we got back to school that the Head of Security Council who had just gotten to the complex inquired about what was happening and the whole story strtd from the beginning again.
The guy was the one that dismissed the case.
He asked the lady if truly I told her - her bag fell when she was away and she confirmed I did.

He said if u had valuables in ur bag that would be the 1st thing u would ve looked for and it is almost unbelievable that u didn't rmba tru out the day until late evening.
He concluded she must ve lost the fone somewhere and was just trying to look for someone to take responsibility for it.
I went to SUB with my friends the nxt day to do little cwazy for them for the useless harassment melted on me the previous day but I had to allow it just to prove my innocence to this crazy girl.

She was still not satisfied with this - midnight she sent one yeye msg that she was outside in the middle of the night naked laying some form of curse that whoever took her fone was going to die in 7days time
Come and see me in those 7 days omo I careful die to cross road sef I dey look not just right and left I dey look up and down make we no go die for devil to shame us for wetin we no do.


Apparently the mistake I made was to notify her that her bag fell and she also felt it was my responsibility to look after the bag in her absence as per say na bag I com watch for school.

Each time I rmba that case, I am always sad and it still bewilders my imagination that what could ve given this lady so much assurance that I took her fone. We nva spoke till we left school cos of that incidence

we are black people,in a situation like this the first suspect is the one who rendered help,you should not have even do like you see the bag talkless of telling her,

When I was a child living in a face me I face u compound in aguda surulere then there was this man papa uche whom accused me of stealing his sons chicken eggs I tried to say something he slapped me I cried and went inside our room I didn't tell anyone cos it will be the reason for another wahala again thr old man is dead now may his soul RIP

Omo, na jss1 I dey that time for oke afa junior college. During examination, I think it was Agriculture we were doing, there is one stupid Igbo boy in my class then. He told our class teacher that I am engaging in examination malpractice using my agric note. What makes the matter worst is that truely I have my note with me but in my desk which was made to be open and close. because then you have to bring your own chair and desk from home.
What triggered the action of the boy was because I didn't allow him to copy me during the previous examination and also share my chair and desk with him, hence the action . And I tried to tell our teacher that am not doing what he said, that my note just happened to be there because I was reading it before the commencement of the examination but my teacher no accept oo.
What I found most painful is that after she checked my answer sheet she didn't find anything, I was told to sit on the floor facing the class to finish my exam and that mad boy sat on my chair comfortably. After the exam I was called to the staff room given punishment to cut grass and was also caned by two teachers, told to bring my parent. It was after my mum came to school that the teacher felt she has punished me unfairly when she saw that I have been getting 2nd position in class. Whenever I remember that boy ehn I always curse am. I pray make i jam am one day If I no go kill hin papa.

I was accused of stealing #50 when I was a child, continuous beatings for days running to weeks without stop until I confessed to stealing the money and my dad bought new razor blade to give me mark at my back which makes the story unforgettable till today, I have to remind my father that I did not steal the money again after over 18years. My aunty told me how she drove one of my cousins out of her house. Happened to me in primary one . You know all those childhood love something . So there was this girl in my hood that I and some other dudes liked . Normal children love . So one day she was crying and I went to clean her tears with my hands and she stopped crying which made me happy . Mind you , my school was a government school and we had people twice my age in our class that were struggling academically. Then I looked and also saw this other guy that was with us in the same room that night, he was crying and saying oh phone wey I starve myself for oh which kind thing be this. I noticed that he owns the stolen phone and I felt his pain.

The next thing I saw was one man that presented a concoction and he said if I know that I stole the phone I shouldn't drink from the concoction bcs if drink my tongue will begin to pull out but if I did not nothing will happen to me.
I was like, I didn't take any phone so I won't drink from that unknown concoction. I will not drink oh I said. They all said, that means I stole the phone because I am the only one remaining, every other person here had taken a sip from the concoction. I called my big bro to ask him some few questions, he said he had also be given that concoction that I shouldn't be afraid of anything. I came back and I drank from it. Tho I was afraid, after drinking they all were watching expecting me to start manifesting. What was inside me was way bigger.
Only God knows what I drank that day. God have mercy on me.

i remembered when i was in Jss class there is this woman in my area that begged me to always head her bring her some son back from school whenever i am coming back i agreed; i was happy doing it even atimes spent my money buying things for him. so one day i discovered that that the woman was acting somehow i tried to find out what happened so i was accused by her that i do eat the boys food any time they gave him food to school. i was really pained because that very time my mum owns a restuarant that she is aware so she wont possibly say i was hungry. i was so pained that time because i was doing everything about the boy with my mind.
