Yes it is absolutely true that salvation is strictly through faith in Jesus.
1. To have eternal life we believe in Jesus.
2. To overcome we walk by the faith of Jesus.

Note a Christian falls when he adds anything to faith in Jesus, and what might cause this is false teachings.

How can one walk by faith in Jesus, one can walk by faith when he or she live out his faith. Since by faith I died to sin and resurrected in Christ in righteousness then I live as one who has died to sin and resurrected to a life of righteousness in Christ Jesus.
This is same as walking in the spirit to count one as dead to sin and alive to God in righteousness, when one walks by faith he walks in the victory of the cross.

I read and all I see is the word believe in bold. Meaning that the stressed word in all the passages given.

When you people go to preach only believe in Jesus, you bring in people into the church with their old man. None of them have been truly converted to a new man.
That's why you still have iniquities abounding in the church. Many pastors lack the technique to preach fornication out of the lives of their members.
Many children of God claim they are living by faith, by grace of God yet they are in bondage of sin... Properties of the the devil in their lives.
When they come to church they will sing and praise and pray in tongue and behave like they are filled with the Spirit of Christ..... But their girlfriends are there in the church with them. So immediately they dismiss from the church, they will go and fornicate, or involve in all sorts of sins, thereby continuing to be in the bondage.

It seems you’re getting the whole thing wrong and it’s because of your sin consciousness.

People sin in church today because they want to sin.

There’s no particular message that’s responsible for that.

Would you jump into the Atlantic Ocean because someone suggested it?

Quit all these baseless theories that a particular message would give christians license to sin.

Like Kenneth Hagin once said, people don’t need a license to sin, they have been sinning from the beginning.

Ask yourself, what message made Adam sin?

Once saved always saved, right?

The question is, how is a man saved?

The obvious answer is that a man is saved when he believes the gospel in his heart.

This is what the Bible teaches

What is this gospel?

It’s the death and resurrection of Jesus

Anything outside of this is heretic

You can not add anything to it otherwise it becomes the unfinished work of Christ.

We preach this because Christ commands us to do so.

This is different from spiritual growth

As the believer grows in the knowledge of Christ, he progressively comes into the consciousness of Christ’s victory over sin.

Thereafter, he begins to live in the reality

Telling a man to stop sinning will only multiply the sin.

Rather let him know what Christ has done.

The passion of Christ will overwhelm him and the unsearchable riches of His grace will consume every desire that’s contrary to His will.

Nice thread was hijacked for 3 whole pages. . It seems alot of us Christians don't understand what God did for us through Christ in His death, burial, resurrection and ascension.

It is sin consciousness that's still making most people argue against the gospel of the Grace (the person and fullness of Christ) of God.
