Crofton:Yes it does, An agreement will be made on its usage probably after a conflict has ensued. And that agreement will usually be in form of mutual none interference, and none stoppage of the transporter in exchange for no customs control. You have to recognize that both sides have action weapons in their arsenal of options. So the agreement is simply none interference. |

Crofton: I have presented you with enough (from first page till now) for you to at least respect the topic enough to Google the difference between Embargo (which Saudi Arabia did to UAE) and blockade (Which Saudi arabia has never done to UAE) An embargo is a refusal to trade with a country. An blockade is the blocking of trade between that country and any other country. If I refuse to buy at your shop that is an embargo If I stand at the door and stop others from buying that is a blockade If I refuse it's between you and me If I blockade it's between you, me, and the people I am blocking. If 'The niger delta' decides to embargo Igbos, that's fine. The life expectancy in most of the Niger Delta is 45 years so there cannot be much money/trade to be done with the region as a stand alone anyways. If 'The niger delta' blockades Igboland, they are telling the major trade partners (US, UK, China, EU, India, Brazil based on Nigeria statistics) that they are not allowed to trade with Igbos, and they are telling Igbos that they (Igbos) are not allowed to trade with anyone else. That has to be enforced with force, not mouth. If they want to enforce it with mouth (which i've come to notice is how Nigerians think a lot of things work) that is their business, but as soon as an EU ship starts sailing up the Niger River to Igboland, or an Igbo ship starts sailing river to Europe the 'The south south' has to be ready to torpedo the ship to enforce the blockade, otherwise it's just mouth and mouth is a diplomatic catastrophe because that is the last day you will be taken seriously as a country (assuming a country called The Niger Delta Republic or South South Republic is taken seriously at all) Now as you can tell from the example, a blockade is a visible act of war, and there's nothing (historically, logically, statistically etc) that will imply 'The Niger Delta - and this is minus Igbo portions) can survive a war against Igbos as Igbos as a collective are several times more numerous than 'The Niger Delta' as a collective, have and produce better technology and have everythin git takes to launch a swift and brutal military effort from numbers, to weapons manufacture to the manufacture of motor vehicles, to the ownership of aircraft and ships, and the fact that 8 out of 10 boats in the Niger delta (machine boats) are made in the East. Now the Niger Delta, to protect its blockade will have to fight both Igbos, and whoever is interested in trading with Igbos. Unlike you store example. By the time the Ship starts moving, the trade has already been made. Money has been exchanged. So if Russia is buying petroleum from Igboland, Igbos will either send a boat filled with Russia petroleum to Russia, or Russia will send a boat to pick up it's oil. In both cases, you are actually attacking Russia in trying to stop the transaction, not Igboland. The question then is how will you enforce the blockade? Use your Niger Delta submarine to sink the Russiaship or your Niger Delta stealth jet to bomb the Russia oil? If the Niger Delta does an embargo (refusal to trade like Saudi Arabia to UAE), that is their business as they're not a major source of income for anyone. If it's oil, the same oil is in Igboland. |
