Did you reprogram the bios chip?

If you have a DC power supply, you can easily check if it detect ram or not.

The DC reading takes more amps when ram is inserted, so if reading stays the same with and without ram, then you can check ram slot voltages, and you know ram ic, depending on the type it uses whether PC3/pc3L etc uses different voltage and terminating voltage which goes to the ram slot, before you change the ram ic, I'll assume the ram coil was not getting the required voltage?

sent it to u so far what u hv stated might be the issue wasnt dunno if u still got anything... Acer and its wahala na 5&6 since u hvnt find anything yet i dont know any one can do that the board is not dead but it still doesnt bring up display 😩😩 now to buy such pc i need over 500k chaii

...The best thing to do is negotiate, talk to 2 or more competent technician and see the one that will help you fix it at an affordable price, some technician also charge base on the model of your laptop.

Dell xps 15 with part number LA-E331P came in with no plug-in issue.
Dell have two type of charging issue.
1. The normal charging issue like every other laptop
2. The PS_ID issue,this is when the adapter watt can not be determine and when it's not shown you'll get the adapter watt= unknown at the battery section in bios setup.

This mobo was having the adapter watt unknown charging issue.
After checking I found out that the PR102 resistor was open, the value had increase to 1.5k ohms instead of 33ohm, the resistor was replaced with a 0ohm resistor and mobo works fine.
Battery charged from 85%-97%

The CD3301 ic got burnt and the mobo refuse to turn on, since this ic is kinda scarce, the best option is to bypass it.

Mobo turns on after bypassing.

Fault : plug-in charging but not increasing.

Vin MOSFET impedance was fine both the charging and discharging MOSFET was OK.
ILIM and Iout pin and impedance was OK as well.
Communication between ACP/AC and Vin clr was OK.
There was no communication between SRP and battery clr was OK but there was no communication with SRN pin 12 of the bq25A charging ic.

After tracing, a missing track was found and connected, now mobo charges fine.

When there's no communication between SRP/SRN and clr there will be no charging since measures current between the charging ic and battery in the case of missing communication between ACP/AC you'll likely get a no power on (dead) laptop.

Fault : not charging.

Solution: ACP/AC not communicating with CLR, I use insulated wire to connect both lines and mobo works fine.
