The ooni of ife stool was created by awolowo it is not ancient

The oba of benin never attends the ooni of ife coronation but the ooni of ife must always attend oba of benin coronation ceremony or he will remain illegitimate and unflavored by the gods

See as they resemble Igbo people and even call it "Esi" like Igbos. Whoever divided Igbo people, it will never be well with these people.

We are not Igbos. It was a Benin prince during the time of crisis centuries ago, who migrated to form this village and two neighbouring villages- Fugar and Iraokhor. It is a long story. The Etsako, Owan and Esan were originally Beni people until disagreement in the kingdom kept making some prince to go afar. Same with Urhobo, Itsekiri and some others in Delta state

Wikipedia is the only history source for history revisionists because they can easily edit it......your obi only wears that his rettarded costume anytime once in a while......all historical facts, records and museums point that agbada is a Yoruba attire and it doesn't mean other cultures don't have their own variations.

Below is the real fulani attire before they themselves copied the Yoruba's.

You see how mischievous you are trying to be? grin
Agbada is an adopted from babanriga. You can go anywhere and ask. This doesn't point but completely tells you agbada is an adopted babanriga which other places have a name and variant for also.
Babanriga is an Hausa attire which is also adopted you can take it to the bank.

Now this is your olowo of iwo in complete isiagu. Should we say he only puts on his retarded agbada once in a while? Now wiki is a source of history for revolutionalist because it doesn't favour you today.

It is Igbo people that moved out of Edo, nobody divides them. Igbo and the Edo people (2 brothers) move from Ile-Ife to the now Edo state, and one (the igbo's) move to another location because there was misunderstanding between the two brothers

cheesy
Who did this to you na? Or is it that you don't take time to study Nigerian ethnic groups? Etsako people have no roots with igbo. Etsako people are Afenmai people. They have their roots from Benin. I dare you to go there and mention Biafra to them or even mention Nnamdi KANU.....body go tell you. Our grandparents told us how igbo soldiers invaded parts of Etsako land during the coercive and manipulative civil war but thank goodness we fished them all out. cheesy
If Nigeria divides, we return to status quo of 1963. Midwest region.
Edo rich history spreads to Onitsha, Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, Ondo, Lagos and Benin Republic (Isidahome kingdom)
Please, which one is Isidahomey kingdom again? So, in your bid to debunk the spurious claim of some Igbos here that the Ogbona people are Igbo, you had to cook up your own batshit-crazy ahistorical codswallop out of your own delusional ass? I only know of the Dahomey Kingdom of the Fon people in the Republic of Benin. Please, which one is Isidahomey Kingdom?

You are correct but the part you said onitsha is 100 percent Igbo is totally wrong

Oga some town in onitsha are from igala and they settled there and from there also into asaba,

The obi of onitsha is of Benin heritage ..somehow

No, The very first Obi of Onitsha is an IGBO man named Eze Chima, He was a returnee from the old Bini kingdom during the Idu Wars ...Take note of the word RETURNEE. IGBOs were a part and parcel of the Bini kingdom

Igala settlers in SE aren't from onitsha and they dont have a settlement in onitsha.

You need brain reset. Nothing suggests they are Igbos other than the culture which almost the entire ethnic groups in Southern Nigeria share. Most Africans share one similarity or the other.

The only people with indigenous clothing in Nigeria is Igbo. Google "Akwaete"
Yorubas were clothed by the Fulani

Indigenous you say?

Yorubas have been weaving & wearing clothings since 15th century, way before your fore-fathers in Igbo land..

Aso-oke, Agbada, and so on.. Your fore-fathers are still crushing naked back then..

You should be the one to do research because you know nothing. You can even ask itsekiri people themselves, they will tell you that they are Yoruba's

Agbada is agbada, babanriga is babanriga. Outside of your Wikipedia source, which can be edited by anyone, can you show me any reputable source that shows that all the West African frican ethnic groups who have an agbada-esque mode of dressing adopted it from Hausa?
