Good morning everyone, I haven't been able to sleep for the past 9 days now...

So many things are just happening around me at the same time that I wouldn't even know where to start explaining..

(Sucide is not an option, no matter what happens I still believe that there's light at the end of the tunnel)

But getting to the end of the tunnel has been an issue...

All I need now is just words of encouragement and hope from anyone that once experienced depression and made it out... Thanks and God bless.

Life has not been easy lately, but am happy u still have hope. If u go out and see things happening around you, u will have a thousand and one reasons to be greatful for life.

A little breakdown of what had happened and still happening at the moment.... Like I said earlier, it's very long and complicated... But I'll just try and summarize...

I'm from the Eastern part of the country.. my grandparents gave birth to 11 children, as I speak now, all of them are dead... Including my own parents...

My father died when I was in primary 1(1997) and my mom died when I was in primary 4 (2000) after the death of my father my mom's sister came and carried my 2 sisters... When my mom died in the year 2000 they visited home after her burial (because she was buried the following day after her death)

They spent few days in the village before going back.... Since then I've only seen my sisters once and that was in the year 2011...

I've been in Abj for 15 years now, I've seen hell in the hands of people... I don't have anyone in my father's house anymore, and my mother's side is nothing to write home about, because my sisters that were staying with them left them...

I last visited my village around 2008 since then I haven't gone home, there's nothing there to see apart from graves... I'm not getting any younger and things are not really working...

I've been strong for 2 long, but I'm loosing it, I can't sleep at night... that's why I decided to speak up, at least to get little words or encouragement..

I'm not clear on what the issue is, but keep your head up and be strong.

Your own still good...at least ur siblings still dey alive. Na only u fit give urself the best encouragement to move on & dey grateful for the gift of life. If only u fit think deep u go know say some certain things dey happen for a purpose. We no sign any agreement to come this life. No dey focus too much on the dark side ...

I suggest you change your church. Move from one church to another till you find a church that has solid support group that helps its members and treats you as family. Genuine churches and not fake.

People frown at it but there's absolutely nothing wrong with going to different churches till you find one that caters for your circumstances.

I worked with one of the biggest church here in Nasarawa close to 6 years... If not for my personal encounter with God, I would have said that church is scam...

There is an expiry date to every man's problem please keep hope alive and keep trusting in Jesus Christ. For there is hope for a tree: If it is cut down, it will sprout again, and its tender shoots will not fail (Job14:7) Worry won't solve anything but it adds to it, be anxious for nothing but by prayer and supplication make your request known to God. Don't allow the thoughts of your mates are doing better than you, let that evil thought know some of your mates are dead, mad, prisoners etc Fight it with the scriptures, prayer, praises, sing hymns.
Please make yourself happy and start thanking God for all those things He has been doing and He will do more. Ask him and believe He has done it, it is well with you always.

Seems to me like what you need is sleep.. did you know that the mentally sick brain needs more rest than the average Brain? Have you tried using sleeping pills to get you some sleep?

Jesus Christ is not found in your churches... He never said to look for Him in the churches of men.

Jesus Christ is not limited to any geographical location or building so those who truly seek Him know not to look somewhere for Him.
