Villanelle was recruited while in prison by The Twelve. And this was actually revealed in the 2nd season.
Super Assassin? I don't know about super. To me, she's portrayed as talented, smart and deranged. Unless that's your definition of super assassin.

The endgame? We'll just have to wait for the end to find out, I guess.
I'm not denying the lesbian themes in Killing Eve, but saying that people watch it for LGBT fan service is just preposterous.

kendrick9 is right though. We haven't really seen a quality fight scene from Villanelle after 3seasons. I can't even call that tussle she had with the other girl at the train station a fight scene(in season 3) cos twas like two street girls fighting.

Villanelle hand to hand is quite awful( the choreography - amateurish).

But her pattern of killing that caught Eve's eye in season one, she doesn't use gun, just any psychotic pattern that comes to her mind. She also like playing dress up like that chemical lady.

All her killings are up close and personal, that why The Twelve loves her.

1.The killing of the boy she was given to train.
2. The killing of her handler in season 2 or so.
Like who does that? She is a field agent for crying out loud.( I can't remember them all from my head)

Maybe cos she is the golden goose that why nothing they touch her.

The way Dasha fears(respects) her handlers from Russia isn't same for Villanelle.

Any sister in love with her brother would have done what she did.
Be she a chef, a librarian it doesn't matter.

You got a call that a brother you loved so so so much (an only brother) for that matter, went to India and was reported to have gone missing, after 20 years they found his body in a desert in Spain.

Any sister, any brother, any parent would have wanted to know what really happened?

Because it is now clear all along that they lied he went to India and that he was actually murdered in Spain and his body buried in a desert.

A sense of revenge, anger will arose.

You would want to know the truth from his close circle 20 years ago.
