This argument is a yearly thing here, those who are planning to use untouchable loan to get a visa then come here with little or no money will get angry as they are doing now but you know what? Since 2009 when this thread started i'm yet to see any one of them come back here to say they have succeeded in studying and working to pay school fees, no jack has done that, soon one will open a thread to cry how the UK take your money and you get no job, they are racist bla bla bla.

All this fighting talk ends when they get to the UK and face reality, then they start looking for ways to stay back, claim to be gay, suddenly God has called them to become a pastor, marry their granny age mate here to stay, sham marriage etc.

When you pay thousands to the school and did not come with the money to survive here then you are not smart or intelligent

I can't Agree less with you owing to your years of experience. In some pages back I read where you advise a guy going for a 15K Pounds Course to forget it he can't make it up otherwise a less Amount will be great.


My question is For a 15k Pounds Course will I be fine sourcing 50% of my Tuition fee back home?

So far so good, Glasgow Caledonian university (London campus) still seems like the cheapest for Msc in London.. 13500£ per year.. Because others I have been seeing is 16k 17k and so on... Pls, can any one shed more light on this...

I have been online searching for a school
1) In London (my sponsor, said it should be in London so as to save cost of accommodation and feeding. He lives in London)
2) A cheap school that accept at most 3500 to 4k as initial payment.
My target is 2022 September. But I want to give him feedback now based on my research.

That is purely on your preference. I was in similar situation in the past. MSc Cybersecurity in both Scotland and England but my preference was on course recognition and accreditation. NCSC is the accreditation body for cyber security. below is their link you can check it out.

Also, the course contents and the course graduates profile on linkedin.....are some of the criteria I used in arriving at the one I settled for. Though, I settled for the one in Scotland based on the 2 options before me. So, it is purely based on what you are looking at.

I met a guy telling me that I have to pay also for something called remitta.. that if I go for the affidavit only, its still not a complete process. So for those who have been in this situation before. should I pay for the affidavit and remitta or only the affidavit

you cannot use affidavit. your passport supersedes any affidavit in the international sphere. correct your passport details.

Everything your study will cost depends on a lot of factor.. length of study,
Accomadtion and feeding, school fee Visa and Nhif and miscellaneous.. living expenses is approximately calculated as 9207€ for a 1 year course . You have proof of fund to deal with too. So state categorically what you need and let the gurus shere help you out. It will end in praise

Remitta is a mode of payment. I don't think the guy knows what he is talking about. Your affidavit and birth certificate is fine.

it is done only at Abuja hdqtrs. just budget around 160k - 200k.

you do not need remitta. if the affidavit is paid for at the court, pay and get it, forget remitta.

Timeline for getting an offer depends on the particular school.

As for applying for the visa, you can only start the process 6 months before the official date of commencement of studies at the school.

The question is… do you have £15k to genuinely present for visa application?

I have 2 offers for January 2022. BCU - Msc Automotive Engineering £14500 and Portsmouth - Advanced Manufacturing £16000

I'm indecisive at which to pick yet because I don't know how cheap accommodation, job prospects and quality of teaching is at both schools.

I see automotive to be very lucrative (high rise in electric vehicle) but it's specialised while Advanced Manufacturing to cut across lot of opportunities.

Also, for BCU, I'll need to have my POF for up to 2 months as they'll request for it to issue CAS and also going to have pre-CAS interview. Where as, UoP doesn't request for statement and interview for CAS.

Advice please

please when did you apply to Portsmouth? How many weeks did it take you to get a reposnse from them

My problem with uni of bedfordshire is the low ranking and 65% payment of fees before CAS

Exactly my issue as well. I've also read somewhat conflicting reports about Luton where the campus for my study is based. Many say it's population is mostly older aged people sha.
