Go to Kaduna it's a relatively nice place to stay and grow. I use God beg u, when looking for Accommodation plz no pass Barnawa, Romi, gonigora and Sabo side e get why...

I will advice you take up the kaduna job. Reasons: very lively, relatively peaceful, low cost of living and agric business opportunities if you have the connections back there in Ibadan etc. Originally from Ogbomoso but resident in Kano. You can holla me if you need more details.

I lived almost all of my life in Kaduna. I did my primary and secondary school in Kaduna. My parents currently reside in Kaduna but I am now based in Osun State. I will advise you to remain in Ibadan with the 175k job than to move to Kaduna. I can give you more than 20 reason to remain in Ibadan
(1) insecurity- your family members would be afraid to visit you over there.
(2) your children will grow in an environment full of uncertainty
(3) no social life anymore. There is no cinemas or shopping malls.
(4) Christmas and Easter always boring because of security issues.
(5) you can not live in the Porsche areas because they are not safe. The areas that are safe for non indigenes are not beautiful except for barnawa.
(6) business is no longer moving as before
(7) stupid government policy especially from the present governor.

I can go on and on. My brother abeg stay for Ibadan.

I have llved in Kaduna for the most part of my life and I can tell u that only the outskirts of kd are kinda insecure but the capital and other LGAs around around the capital are super safe.
I live around the capital and most times come back home around 9pm. So nothing to worry abt as far as the job is in the capital..

Go to Kaduna my brother. Kaduna and Kano is the hub of business development and operations in the North. Ibadan is sitting on old glory of days past, I am a yoruba man but Oyo state is light years behind Kaduna state in terms of services and job. If not for Lagos, Ibadan wouldn't be how it is today. If Ibadan could pick up it should have done so by virtue of it's closeness to Lagos but the other Southwest state is really making it difficult but Kaduna, except for the insecurity is a really developed city and ancient too.

Also understand that 75% of anything produced or imported to Nigeria is sold in the North. Apart from Ibadan and ogbomoso I'm not sure there is any other city in Oyo state that can boast of economic activity...I stand corrected.. but in Kaduna you have cities like Zaria, Kafanchan and Kaduna North especially is a hub of economic activity on it's own. And there is the closeness it has with Abuja which is really important.

Baba, kaduna is not cheap as they make it look oh! Houses in Barnawa are very expensive and they are old houses. The kidnappings on Zaria road, abuja -kaduna road and other roads are real. So places like gonin Gora and nnpc area and sabo areas have also come under heavy kidnappings. These areas are Christian areas. The kidnappings happen all the time and weekly on monthly . Just last 4 days , the rule of dutse town along abuja kaduna expressway near olam was kidnapped in his house and some persons were also shot.
That money you are looking at in kaduna, can make you lose all your life savings just because of one single kidnap, you have to bail yourself .
Job opportunities are also scare in kaduna , it is difficult to get another job in kaduna because the companies here are just too few. And one thing again is that when you come here, you will start relaxing and not be up and doing anymore ( nothing to compete for). The only thing you can enjoy in kaduna is your ability to go to school without stress. Stay in your ibadan

Company is most likely Afex, Babbangona or Thrive agric. The base of operation is most likely Zaria that is where most of their staff are resident.
