Where Did This Osinbajo Perception Come From? by Shooyie: 11:44am On Sep 07, 2021
Where is the perception that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is quiet coming from? Is it that people are not paying attention to what is happening in this government or could it be that the man is quiet? Some say his hands are tied, how can this be? In the last few days, I read many things the man has done and I couldn’t help wondering where this narrative is coming from.

So last week, there was a story that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo quietly reached out to the National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) with a view of ending their 37-day strike. He did this behind the scene but NARD shared the news with some journalists that later published it.

Somehow, the doctors have said they trust Osinbajo to meet their needs and resolve the issue that has lingered for many years. They said he told them that he does not want them calling off the strike, only to embark on another strike. He then asked them for the full details which they said they have given away.

Days after, President Muhammadu Buhari named the Vice President, Chairman Health Sector Reform Committee. The committee has members drawn from private and public sector health care management professionals, development partners, representatives from the National Assembly as well as the Nigeria Governors Forum among others.

I also read that the Vice President met with traditional and religious leaders in Zamfara, Plateau and Kaduna at the height of the violence going on there to find a lasting solution. Since relative peace have recorded in these areas.

I understand that the Vice President pressed the Service Chiefs to clear out the bandits, herdsmen, kidnappers and all kinds of criminals. So how is this man quiet? How are his hands tied? God help Nigeria.

Those people that do say Osinbajo's hand are tied or do say rubbish about him didn't read and understand Nigeria Constitution to actually know his roles and duties as a vice president

Some Nigerians will just sit and say what they know nothing about, the current VP is the most active leader we ever had. The level of trust between him and the President make the President to be delegating roles to him. You can't break their bond.

I like the question that this writer is asking, how can a man be doing so much yet his people ridicule him? Some Nigerians are a difficult bunch.

People who say stuff like this rarely have their voters card. So no stress.

Not difficult alone. Many Nigerians are very baised ethno-religious haters who can never see good in someone they crudely abhor because of his/her ethnicity and/or religious faith.

Hatred has blocked some people's eyes to see what is going on in the country.

Osinbajo is a man full of actions

The effects of what osunbande is doing must/should be felt by Nigerians.

The stories from the streets of nigeria does not buttress the fact that osunbande is making any difference.

OMC and BMC zombies have started whitewashing the failure who only blows grammer to impress the gullible zombies on his pay roll

Una don tire for the bullion van abi, na osunbande, a mere errand boy for the caliphate na una wan replace with the drug addict.

This zombies want the islamization to continue under a mere commissioner under the foothold of the jihadist. SMH

This regime is Buhari-Osinbajo regime.
They either succeed or fail together.

... and it's glaring to us all.

Let no one twist anything to and any one a hero here.

So says an IPOBian only focused on discrediting Yorubas.

Let me make this crystal clear to you. Even if Yorubas are schemed out of 2023, Igbos can never be the beneficiary of such a development.

This is because no main political Party will feature an Igbo as it's Presidential candidate knowing that disgraceful loss at the polls is the only eventuality awaiting such a self-destructive act.
