Looking at those stuff, one can tell why most Nigerians are often sick terribly. I can bet that plantain was induced with carbide to force & quicken ripening. Nigerians please wake up from the bondage of these politicians killing and wasting your years on earth
They will never wake up. That's why someone will post such dead stuff as food claiming he bought it cheap. That thing is not supposed to be sold in any market let along being bought.

This has alway been the crux of my argument on Dollar/Naira exchange rate.
There is no way you can get such at $2.00 in the US. Those stuffs you see there can not be less $10.00 which is like N5,200.00 in Nigeria at an exchange rate of N520/$1.00
Value of currency is supposed to measure in term of the basket of goods it can purchase.

The veggies will be very fresh and cost about $2- $2.50 in the US
The plaintain at 40 cents each will be $2.40
The eggs will be about 60 cents
I am using the higher end of my estimates
So total is about $5- 5.50
The minimum wage in the USA is $7.50 an hour
So the lowest hourly wage earner can buy this with what he makes in less than one hour of work.
Can the lowest wage earner in Nigeria buy that with an hourly pay?
Absolutely not
At 18k naira minimum monthly wage, his weekly wage is 4,500 naira and his hourly wage is about 112.50 naira
He could only afford one egg and one plantain out of everything there

Thats what Nigerians don't understand about purchasing power of currency.
They keep saying Ghanaian cedis is better. Let them buy a bottle of coke in Ghana and compare the price when converted

In actual terms is $1 supposed to be equal to N520? Is it not supposed to be $1-N1 .

He picked those rotten carrots from the garbage thrown away by the Mallam selling it.
Even the eggs look sick as if it will explode Kpoof if you crack it open.
The tomato was taken from the basket called baje baje.
The green peas has spent so much days in the sun and the green has faded from some part.
The plantain and onions look manageable

You are just an enemy of progress. Nothing is wrong with the peas, eggs, tomatoes.

Nothing!

Op, crystalspark no mind all these jealousy people.
