When I searched for job for 7 years and nothing was coming. Later got one with 39,000 naira monthly and still did not settled all bills coming and had to stop and find a better one... Then siblings said he is lazy ,he is this he is that.. And for their parts they are doing well and cannot support financially ... Laslas God open way. No condition is permanent . you don't have today doesn't mean you can't have. If you are not lazy, you will get there.

My dad was my greatest motivator, he was and still a very rich man, but made me understand that his money was his alone, he gave me all the necessary things i needed but never gave me luxury and told me if i wanted that i should work for it, this made me to start becoming independent immediately after school, even Hubby is enjoying me today, because i am a serial entrepreneur

Growing up as the only male child in the familiy.....still growing but I need to man up.
Someone should motivate me, I'm lost!

Losing my dad this year is enough motivation for me. A first born of four children with my mum underemployed, she teaches in a private primary school.
My Dad didn't retire before his death, so no pension for us.

I know the future will be bright though, my hustle will be blessed!

My mother. Raising kids by a single mother is not an easy task. She never fails to remind us that she owes us no responsibility,like shelter,food etc when we clock 18. That any time we find such in Nigeria's Constitution we should let her know. So I left home and became an adult before 18

Smart mom. Her tough love worked. Currently doing the same to my kids. It's simple really. If you want something, then save up and pay for it yourself.

Two things motivated me.

First, as the first graduate in my family, I saw how they struggled to make sure I never lacked in school. I made it a vow to repay them.

Secondly, I fell in love with a young beautiful and decent lady but the Mom was always rubbing it on my face that their daughter can never marry a poor man. I was working as a teacher then and doing the little I could to provide for my mom and sibling and at the same time trying to be a caring boyfriend.

I was seen as a distraction to her despite the fact that I have been her motivation and meeting her need

That treatment alone made me to take a risky decision to quit my teaching job, gather my last saving to get an accommodation faraway from everyone (including my family).

I dropped the graduate mentality and started hustling under sun and rain like a school dropout.

Fast forward to today, at least I can feed myself comfortably, place my mom on a weekly stipend, my girl who stood by me against the rubbish her mom was doing is in the University and I am playing a big role in her life.

Her parents her forming jovial now but I still remember their words and treatment they gave me. I visit the mom once in a while and press something into her pams all because of my girl friend (her daughter).

I am still growing and hustling and making key long-term investments for the future and when it ripes, I will remind them of their words and treatments

To be real, heartbreak and depression made me work harder, the only place i am not unhappy is when i work,
Unfortunately depression is making me give up on had work now, Nigeria is depressing, no matter how hard you work, if you dont go illegal, your sweat means nothing, no fulfillment.

When I realized my parents are getting older at any second, and they are always trying hard to set my life on good things (school, business).

I start to double my hustle to take care of them, after taking care of them, I will take care of my self.

Moral: don't take life easy, and work smarter, not always harder, but sometimes work harder.

Yes I was born and bread in Nigeria.So true this ailment is so rare that its even alien to some of our Doctors here. I could Remember a Doctor at a specialist hospital in Shitta(Lagos state) once told me after a comprehensive check that there was nothing wrong with me and its all in my head.Family even gave up on me after taking me around a number of hospitals, my situation was concluded as Spiritual.
My turning point came when I began to research my symptoms online.I stumbled upon a forum and read the story of a member who was bed ridden for over 30 years of an elusive ailment only to reallze he only needed to quite gluten to regain health. I did same and I started feeling normal again.

Many reasons. I can only give glory to God.

My friend only calls me whenever he's in 9ja, I don't know whether to be his PA or security but this same guy , we eat and wine when we were boys ,even nah my clothes he dey wore that time, he can't help you or gist u how he take travel but can buy u drinks and carry woman give u.. I have a rethink the very day he insulted me in my own village when we went there for something, I drove his car to nearby ATM to make some withdrawal and the car developed kick fault , I managed to brought it back, that day we supposed to return to base earlier , when I came back he was already shouting panicking and making noise , he talked to me in away that made my mom shed tears, because she was afar watching us.. I fixed the kick for him with the last money in my account 20k... that day I said to myself I rather be dead than to take this insult ever again in my life... After a month when I was at the airport lagos I called him to tell him am travelling, he didn't believe he switched it to video call for confirmation, I came to abroad things were tough I nearly deport myself in my first 3 months abroad but as times goes , things balance well moreover remembering the insults I received from him put me on my toes, I bought my first house, start building my own house in the village and God on my side I will be in Nigeria this December with my 4matic.. his only achievements is the venze the oyimbo woman bought for him when they were together... he has been in Nigeria since 2years now due to visa restrictions to China his base... the other day he didn't know when he asked me for fuel money, I gave him so he will eat his gots... I have forgiven him but I will remember that very day he insulted me in front of my mother when I see him face to face
