No, there is a good reason Antarctica is sparsely populated
When you're in ROME, do as the Romans.

That is; In Rome, if Romans plants bitterleaf, you plant bitter leaf too.
Anyways;
Your siggy says it all.

Case closed.

I've grown up all my life in a family where we feed from hand to mouth. From my grandparents to my parents, they only work everyday and their only form of "saving" is thrift. No investment or anything, only thing I know of them is that they work on a daily to support the family.
This whole thing is starting to crawl into my life as I'm starting to see myself repeating the same thing and I'm scared. I just finished university and I'll be 24 in few months time but I don't want to be poor.

I have this notion of working really hard to get what I want and this has been putting a little in my pocket. This kind of lifestyle just makes me see myself as just surviving in life and not succeed.

Please help me, people who have made it in life who come from middle or lower income families, how did you do it? How did you break the poverty cycle?

Lalasticlala please help move to FP
Follow God 4 rules
1. Be fruitful ( you have to produce something.not pikin ooo)
2.Multiple
3.Distribute
4.Dominate.( best the best )

So look inwards what is your passion Skill experience. Based on that create a product.....
Pick just one thing and focus.
That is pick your horse and ride.
Have a game plan.
Follow a giant footprint you too will become a giant.
Find mentor.

Now you get my point, that is why success in learning how to rear cattle or excel in auto spares business is not based on tribe.

Take this from someone who was born in the poorest of homes....

Your only ticket out of poverty is education, knowledge and wisdom.

You should be able to assimilate more information than the average person.

Information that changes your thinking... Your mindset, and overall view of life...

The only difference between the rich and the poor is what they know - INFORMATION.

If you take all my wealth... Give me three months and I'll make them all back.

It's not magic, it's knowledge.

Unfortunately, you lots don't like reading.

Your greatest investment should be in yourself - your mind.

I remember using my last pennies to buy self development books...

Expensive... But they paid off!

If you can't learn, you're not ready to earn.

I don't even know...

But see eh,one thing I believe in is

"That big break, when e go come,e no go stress you"

Ndi Igbo si "Nlili abughi uba"

Do your best...Our big break is close..
What works for others may or may not work for you..
