Afolavid:You are right! As we speak I have four admissions but I would most likely defer my admission because as it is right now my passport will expire on the 31st of May and I want to apply for the 10 years passport so I don’t have to worry about these folks for the next 10 years of my life. Also the July news is one to look forward to. 5 Likes |

Prettiepearlz: Oh, that's great. You have a lot of options already which makes it even better, btw, there's still enough time from now till July to make important decisions... I already took the study route, my decision should come in hopefully before or by next month but I'll still keep up with my PR pursuit regardless. Wish you all the best in this journey. It will end in praise! 2 Likes |

When they say above 500, does it mean 520, 530 because by July the people above 500 in the pool may be up to 12 or 15,000. Already did Tef, have 2 certs and I'm on 496. Maxed ielts too so nothing else to increase the score. God no go shame us o 3 Likes |

Finally got RFV email a few days ago. March 2020: Entered the pool; lockdown started few days or so after and FSW draws stopped September 2020: ITA received; literally a few weeks before I would lose points due to age and fall below the CRS cut-off at the time, so I was very lucky. December 2020: AOR received Then the long silence.... May 2021: Ordered GCMS notes and got them in June 2021. Ottawa VO, eligibility passed, info-sharing started, every other thing not started. Another long silence.... decided not to pay anymore attention to IRCC for my mental health March 2022: Saw things had picked up when my friend who got AOR in the same month as I did, informed me they got RFV email. I ordered GCMS notes again. Days later IRCC contacted me... March 2022: ADR received - Updated POF, Schedule A, PCC, Re-medical. POF was a bit of a surprise ADR as I had passed eligibility in June 2021, according to the GCMS notes. Had to run around a bit for it, but every other ADR was straight forward. Submitted all ADR within two weeks. April 2022: RFV email received. New GCMS notes haven't even arrived, so they can keep it Thank you to all of you guys. This forum has been very valuable with reasonable, insightful and measured answers to all my questions. Special thanks to @GraciousWords, @tshtsh, @MrPein. RektGeo: 16 Likes |

Oyinkanbad: Hi. Send Lagos Vfs an email or call to know what they'd advise. But my guess is that you'd have to pay transmission fees. 1 Like |

Please I need help! Did upfront medicals on March 18th and uploaded the emedical printout using webform. Got request for remedicals on the 8th of April and I don’t know what to do now. I have tried calling targeting the exact time they open but have not been able to get through. It’s been over a month of the upload and no news |

Charityjunkie: If there’s a placeholder, upload the e medicals sheet there. If not, visit the hospital and have them resend your medicals using the request ircc gave you. Nothing to worry about really. Was it IoM or Qlife? 3 Likes |

Honeysweetest:I don’t know how fast CES is with evaluation but lawyers don’t have a choice than to use CES or IQAS that gives them evaluation result equivalent to a professional degree but your husband can evaluate with WES. They are faster. Furthermore, I don’t think you can evaluate your transcripts together because you are both Mr. and Mrs. You both have to create different accounts, pay differently and evaluate separately. 1 Like |

Good day and congratulations to everyone who have gotten PPR. Please I would like to know ..If a male applicant gets married after AOR, does the female have do a new passport to change her last name on her existing passport to the man's last name before she can do medicals and PCC ? Or can she use her existing passport. Does IRCC need to see passport with same last names. Thanks in advance for you response |

okesuku: The female doesn’t have to do anything with her name or change any documents. Opting to change is a personal preference, there is no law/ regulation requiring it. It’s even illegal in some places. IRCC certainly doesn’t care, a marriage certificate is all that’s needed. Source? I’m married, didn’t change my name and I’m a PR 7 Likes |
