owhizkid:Hi, your result can be used to create a profile and remain in the pool. Please if you are confident in your writing, please request for a remark to push you to a 7 at least. With the new trend of very high CRS, one has to maximize every opportunity to get a high score eg maxing out IELTS. To max IELTS, you should have LRSW as 8.5,8,7.5,7.5 in that order. You may also be lucky to get a NOI while in the pool. All the best |

saskatoonguy:488 is not a bad score and you will get ITA soon, don’t complicate issues for yourself. Many have mentioned that it worked for them but no two journeys are the same, and recently I am beginning to see this as a new trend amongst people and if not careful that route will be closed forever and forever. Remain with your 488, it’s not bad. 6 Likes |

zeb04:https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/work-canada/permit/temporary/apply.html The requirements are here. Follow the link. Only live in care givers require ielts, also no past employment letter stated there. Hope this is not the usual agent package If yes it will end in hot tears 1 Like 1 Share |

tannystacey:There are two segments that requires update, the occupation and work history segment. If you update only one and transmit , your profile will be rendered ineligible. CC:Efeosa5 1 Like |

Goodafternoon house, Please I have a question, my sister recently landed in Canada through FSW but she is yet to receive her PR card. What documents can I use to show proof of residency/citizenship in Canada or should I just submit her landing papers. In addition, how are these different from Family member proof of status because I can see that the instructions for them are the same? Thank you in anticipation. |

The stamped and signed COPR (Confirmation of permanent residency) would suffice. fisolaire: 1 Like |

mrkenth: Please how did it take for you to do your biometrics capture? I am really confused, I am traveling outside Nigeria and will only be able to return in 3months(job probation period)... I only have 2weeks from today.. Can biometrics be done in a different country? My wife is the primary applicant and did her biometrics previously while processing study permit |

Kingkendrick109: After you submit your application, ircc will send you instruction letter for biometrics anytime. It may take few weeks or months depending. When you get your instruction letter, book an appointment with any Canada VFS in any country you are and follow instructions on how to complete it as you would if you were in your COR. |

ednut1: Hi ednut, I applied for a job on jobbankca, Interviewed with them on zoom. The people I interviewed with where the same people on the company website. During the interview, some were wearing the company's Uniform. ( It is a job in the health sector and so their scrubs had the label and logo of the company. My offer letter came on Monday and on the letter head paper was present, company tell number, fax number and email account . same as on their website. My employment contract was also provided, a detailed 6 page job offer included was, by my job specifications, salary amount per hour, health insurance, accommodation, etc. They told me it takes 6 to 8 months to provide work visa and I believe it is genuine. Mostly because the head of the lab I saw on the website, was present in my interview, the HR person on the website was present in my interview, the senior doctor on the website was present in my interview. I was never asked to pay any money and I applied for the job myself. However, (1) The communication with them has been via Gmail ( although on their website, company email address is also Gmail) (2) On my offer letter, it has just my first name. I am just trying to be very careful . @justwise @ednut1 1 Like |
