She has to be smart else they will eliminate her.

If they get wind that she is planning on reporting to the police or us embassy her life will be in danger and if she returns to Nigeria on her own accord she must pay back that money by hook or crook.

She has to be very careful. The only way out seems to be the us embassy as the Dubai police may just deport her of which she will still be in trouble and asked to pay the 3.5 million.

Good afternoon House.

Someone told my sister that there was a connection for a sales rep. Job in UAE, since she's yet to get a job after her NYSC, (you know how tough Nigeria is now. But it will require her to pay some money for her visa, flight ticket and other necessary documents, but my sister told her that she currently don't have money to process any international papers.

After much discussion this lady told my sister not to worry that all documentations including flight ticket will be paid for her but on a commission fee when she arrived her destination and upon resuming work in UAE, a percentage of her salary will be remitted to them until she pays up the debt incurred.

This was two months ago precisely August. Now fast forward to yesterday 3rd November 2021, I got a WhatsApp message from my sister telling me that she was being forced into prostitution upon arriving and not the sales job as was agreed.

I told her to find a way to come back to Nigeria since she has a return ticket that will expire in 4 days time valid till 8th November 2021.

Now the issue is:
1. Her Boss, as she called her earlier took her passport upon arrival in the pretense that she may misplace it or it may get stolen.

2. Her boss insisted on her paying all the debt incurred in processing her peppers which is 125% extra on what she spent in bringing her to Dubai, which amounts to N3.5 million Naira.

Please is there a way she can return back without her international passport since she went there legally and her return ticket is still valid.

Please we need help as during this altercation since yesterday, I cannot communicate with her as her Boss has seized her phone. It's now a matter of life and death.

wetin happen to police station? if your sister finds herself in that place at the time when her papers are expired, she would cry for her life.

This here for me is her best choice ever.

Dialpad:
She was trafficked, this is obviously against her wish.

Gather evidence proving all you are doing was not your intention from the onset( remember she is not a minor)

Find your way to US embassy in UAE, tell them you are an exploited woman, let them know there will be consequences if you go back to Nigeria (instant death)

Your sister could be granted assaylum.

Guy try reduce the drugs you take!!

Must time you talk like someone that is sick, imagin if it was your sister? Will you tell her to stay there and be doing prostitution? Even if the girl sleep with 40 boys when she was in Nigeria does that mean she should start prostitution in UAE.

Contact the office of Abike Dabiri, the woman in charge of Nigerians In Disapora Commission. State your plight.
Contact UAE embassy in Nigeria. Put the identity of her Boss on the internet, telling her that nothing must happen to your sister. Contact Nigerian Embassy in UAE also.
Spread the issue all over social media platforms.
Good people with influence will take it up.
Shalom.

Na Nigerian girl's sell am. Them plenty for Snapchat. From Libya, Egypt, Dubai, turkey.
Infact, it starts from the village to Lagos and Abuja, then out to foreign lands. The network is huge.

Yet, Nigerian feminist's don't see an issue, after all the mantra is do what makes you happy.

I bet she's happy now.

If her boss is Nigerian.... she need to understand to th nearest Police station...or stop any Police... but she must emphasize her boss is Nigerian.
Bro... did you warn her about this possibility?... or you supported her going in the hope of reaping the benefits? After all.... prostitution is a sales job. In this life some people just need to learn he hard way.

The issue here is, does your sister really want to come back?

Sometimes conscience can deceive some people

She may see that when she returns to Nigeria, that she will be back to square one to face her unemployment and maybe she have done one or two jobs there and might have been paid

Did you even bother to read the write up?

You can ask her to contact International Organization for Migration. They help in rescuing trafficked persons from any part of the world. Tell her to check online for more details and she should try calling 0703000203.

IOM just yesterday or so, helped in rescuing trafficked persons in Libya and I am sure they will rescue your sister once they have been contacted. I really hope that she gets the help she seriously desires and I can't wait for you to reconnect with her.

She should go report to the police. Also, she could go to the Nigerian High Commission to get an Electronic Travel Certificate to enable her return back if she can't get her passport.

In addition, hope they signed documents showing she was coming to work a sales job.

good suggestion but those people at the Nigerian High Commission maynot process the ETA quick and this boss may even be a Nigerian with connect there
