GOOD DAY NIRALANDERS

I wanted to start up a POS business with my savings of N65k, but the POS man that i consulted to assist me said i would need at least N150k to start up a POS business.

I've really been hustling everyday, doing hard works (especially on bulding sites), taking pain killer drugs on daily basis..

I don't think it will be easy for me to raised my savings up to that amount 'N150k' with the type of work that i do..

I wanted to travel to the city with my ND (National Diploma) result, so i can use it to look for work, I posted it here on nairaland, but 80% of the advice i got from this forum said it will be hard to see a paying job with ND result, while some said it is not even possible. So i couldn't travel again..

Now that my savings isn't enough to start up a POS business, i'm thinking of starting up a standard akara and akamu business and probably extend the business along the run..

As someone known by his people to have went to school, is the business worth the shame?

I just send you mail now, reply with your phone number

As long as the place is populated, especially with labourers, it will be a success. There is nothing to be ashamed of.
The works of your hands will be blessed.

Do your economic analysis of the business first.
Go offline
Carry your calculator and press the digits
Try to envisage your profit
If it seems profitable then add shame to your list of items to be bought.
Make it be a fixed cost, cause you'll be buying it forever.
Na profit be the Koko, whether you're packing shit or not, once your analysis ticks yes, bone face.
Nobody will help you fill 1kg gas once it finishes.
If Buhari our Darling President has no shame.
I don't know why your ego want's you to be more proud than your President.
Ajee in advance.

Believe me, it will not be easy.

Also depends on the type of person you is, I mean are you a G? Your lifestyle etc.

Last month, decided to do a little something different, fortunately, I met a man here and struck a deal to do fries at his stall(fried potato, fried yam) etc. Did it, sold it, was fun, learnt and interacted with a lot of people, blah blah. However, at the end of the week, I quit.

Is Pap and Akara what you really wanna do? How much do you think you’d make? Will you process the beans and fry the akara yourself? And the pap?

Maybe there is another thing you can THINK up that is flexible and more financially rewarding IMO.

Still depends on the kinda person you is. Good luck.

Bless up my gee....mafo oluwa is involved.

First off, you need to know your strengths if you decide to earn online.

You need skills to make money online, it can. Be photo editing, graphic design, video editing, search engine optimization, digital marketing, e-commerce website development etc.

Use glo to access night data..it's N50 for unlimited YouTube access from 12 - 5am.

search, Follow and subscribe on YouTube this popular tech channel "websitelearners"...you'd learn a lot from there more than you ever did in the four walls of a classroom.

The future is tech, don't sleep on it.

You need lots of data, food and zeal to learn for 6 months consistently...after you must have mastered the skill, go to LinkedIn and craft a good profile.

Go to enhancecv.com and build your resume.

Look for fellow skillsets specialists within your chosen field, introduce yourself and tell them you'd like to work on some projects with them for free so you can build your portfolio from there.

Create a paypal account, sign up on freelance sites where you can get remote work (US, Canada, Australia, Estonia, Germany), you can earn as much as $20 per gig daily as a beginner.

Yes please you can, no shame who knows what next God may do through it. Put away pride, I know of a man in Asaba that does it and people patronize him well. Also in Uyo I have seen too. If you are convinced fire down.
All the best, let us know the address for patronage.

Bros, put that shame aside. I first saw it in Lagos( niggas frying poof poof) and now it is spreading like wide fire. Some days back I saw some young guys doing the same thing here in New Nyanya (Nasarawa state). So ride on and when those your friends discouraging you come to buy on credit don't sell to them. Thank you.

1. Shit money no dey smell.

2. There is dignity in honest labour

3. Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it.

Most importantly,

4. A good product will not sell itself. Know your market, and sell aggressively.

All the best.

PS: 65k is enough to start that POS business.
The machine is free from commercial banks.
What then is the issue?
