You won't be able to stop at once, trust me it'll be quite difficult. But you can start by reducing it to once a day then once in two days then once a week and your system will adjust gradually
Very possible. I had my last bottle of Coke on May 4, 2021. Made sure i savoured the drink to the last drop and quit!

Coke still contains cocaine

Coke , which is also unhealthy, removed cocaine from its recipe in 1929...and had been reducing the amount in the preceding years...plus at the time Coke was thought up...cocaine was legal in the country where it was created.

anyone can pay for a full rebuttal to anything if they have the money and connections and guess what Pepsi Does.

I hope you don't use that line of reasoning in academic discussions. You said that Pepsi was made from aborted fetal cells...and on being shown evidence it isn't...you then say they paid for it. You know you are wrong, but you then take refuge in 'they must have been paid' without offering proof.

Well, Reuters is owned by the Thomson company...which has no interest in the beverages industry...or links to pepsi ...so there is no way the article was 'paid for'...and if Pepsi tried to pay for whitewashing...the same Reuters would out them and have a good time doing so.

Your indomie makes you sick but it’s not banned. Cigarettes give cancer but it’s legal wake up man

1.Haven't had indomie in over 3 years.(something i am proud of)

2.Never ever smoked in my life.

3.I am also aware both are unhealthy so what's the point of telling me? Irrelevant.

. Even the very chilled water you are using to take your meals isn't good for your health. It makes the oil and fat in the food to congeal on your stomach and intestines, giving rise to unhealthy fats linning your intestines and stomach. Very bad and can aid cancerous tumor and inhibit proper digestion of food. It can also give rise to other health issues. EAT YOUR FOOD WITH LUKEWARM WATER OR WATER AT ROOM TEMPERATURE.
Well I disagree. Cold water has to be warmed up before it's used by the body, thereby burning more calories.

I'm also totally addicted, though, mine is LaCasera and Dudu fruit drink and malt vanilla.

I take them because I barely have enough time to cook in the morning, so they suffice as my breakfast or even dinner(Dudu fruit drink). I'm trying to break the addiction cus it's making me spend way out of budget.
I bet I had lacasera and viju milk everyday in uni. Like it became an addiction. i quitted immediately I left uni. How that happened, I don't know sef. Going to 8 years now and I don't know what lacasera tastes like.

Buy dissolvable vitamins, the one you put in water. Substitute pepsi for it. It’ll make your addiction profitable. Trust me cheesy
Effervescent supplements are just synthetic. I have two of them in my room. Gifts though.
Yet to decide whether to give it away or throw them in the trash

lol trust me I use this line of reasoning and it has helped me uncover the truth on a lot of things , money rules the world my man not academics not health care professionals not religion Money . Whoever has enough money in this world can decide to do whatever they want and do it in such a brilliant way others won’t even know what’s up. If you are quoting documents from the past let me let you know something. A company can tell the public anything they want just to sway them to their side ,
Do you think Coca-Cola as a company doesn’t have powerful politicians and policy makers in their pockets?

Do you think they don’t have top healthcare professionals as well as legal professionals and others in their pockets ? Do you think they don’t have media professionals in their pockets as well? I laugh you don’t know what people have used money to push and cover up. The media can Tell you a whole bunch of crap heck even the health care professionals will tell you rubbish and you will believe it .

Why ?

Because you have been conditioned to trust their every word because they use word like Research and Study and Data in their documents to deceive you. If think corruption , propaganda and bribery started and only Exist in the world of politics then you are highly mistaken. Keep believing companies when they tell you all the things they tell you, I’m sure if one of these companies came and told you gutter water was safe to drink based on a study by Professionals and experts you’ll start gulping gallons of gutter water . Better be wise the World is not the Fairytale you think it is .

I've been addicted to lots of things in the past and I broke off with them, and one evergreen advice I can give you is to start small, and progressively increase it as times goes by. Ok maybe it's not an addiction, but I used to have an unhealthy need to be right, to be seen, to correct someone, and such unacceptable behaviours.

But when I get the urge to do so, I'll just ask myself if this will matter in the next five weeks, five months or five years? Then I shut the fork up. So if you like, call me a terrorist, all kinds of names, I'll just ignore. And with time, I enjoy being invisible, operating on the background, being tick skinned, and not being in the spotlight.

It's same with learning a new skills. Last month, I ran a marathon, it was one of the hardest thing I've ever done, challenging and proving to myself that it's mind over body. But before I ran it, I've been training for months, and been running for years. I remember when I can't ran one km, but now? I can run non stop for hours. The point I'm trying to make it that time, and consistency rewards everything. To quit or start something, just start small, then grow, and let compound wealth do its magic.

Now I can run for hours without stopping unless I'm really thirsty or it's a bad weather. I've also developed a thick skin, as in eh, you see the way Buhari ignore all his haters and yabbers, that's me. Hate or curse me all you like, doesn't matter. But one thing is sure, I'll live a good life, and you'll know it. Success if the best revenge I guess? So yea. Maybe what I said is not a direct response of how to stop soda addiction, but can help you reach that goal. Graciaa.

Nice one. Have picked two important points from your post.

Good evening Nairalanders. So, I've been a chronic Pepsi addict over the years. I usually take two plastic bottles daily. One during breakfast, and one at night.

I usually take it alongside rice, noodles, any food eaten with spoon. I'm 27. Three years from now, I'll be 30, meaning I'm on my way to middle age.

I've decided to stop drinking it. It's hard but I will try. I now take my food with very chilled water.

I need tips on how to win the fight over my addiction to Pepsi. Today is Day 1. I'm writing this post by 11:30pm, and I've not taken any Pepsi today.

Simple! Switch from Pepsi to coke

Re: I'm On A Mission To Break My Addiction To Pepsi. by Originalsly: 4:19pm On Nov 11, 2021
One can of Pepsi has about 7 to 10 teaspoonfuls of sugar. Would you add so much sugar to any drink?... but here you are drinking twice the amount in one bottle. Why wouldn't you be a diabetic case in the long run?... maybe at 45 having to go for dialysis... if you can afford it... at 55 having your toes amputated... at 60 your leg amputated? Very possible. Why run that risk because you are not determined to stop carrying the label of a Pepsi guy... as if Pepsi has you on contract. Try sprinkling some salt in your Pepsi .... then figure out if.it can ever do you any good. To quit... means you're coming back to your senses... let the others be beating their chests as Pepsi Man and Coke Man!

Thanks bro. I'm happy I took the decision now that I'm still in my 20s. I'm 27 precisely. Today is Day 2. My two drinks are now tigernut drink and water. I've made arrangements for 7 bottles of tigernut drink weekly. I have water in my fridge. What's your opinion about this?
