This is not the first time I hearing this.

I always hear most people are addicted to Pepsi. For some, it's Lacasera.

One boy told me he is addicted to Egg Roll undecided

While for some they are addicted to
Cigarettes, Weed, Marijuana, Hard Drugs And Alcohol.

It is well

Good evening Nairalanders. So, I've been a chronic Pepsi addict over the years. I usually take two plastic bottles daily. One during breakfast, and one at night.

I usually take it alongside rice, noodles, any food eaten with spoon. I'm 27. Three years from now, I'll be 30, meaning I'm on my way to middle age.

I've decided to stop drinking it. It's hard but I will try. I now take my food with very chilled water.

I need tips on how to win the fight over my addiction to Pepsi. Today is Day 1. I'm writing this post by 11:30pm, and I've not taken any Pepsi today.

Maybe these will motivate you

Pepsi is unhealthy, but it doesn't contain aborted fetal cells.

See here for a full rebuttal to that allegation
Coke still contains cocaine, anyone can pay for a full rebuttal to anything if they have the money and connections and guess what Pepsi Does.

There is a sickness called GERD.

Once e nack you nobody go tell you to drop grin

I was addicted to Coke, but for the past two months I have not taken it.

Avoid taking too much sugary drinks, it affects your health more than drugs.

I wish somebody warned me earlier like I'm warning you.

But Sha.. It will be easier for you to stop once that sickness nacks you, them no dey tell body.

Once you start getting an irregular heartbeat, just know say Suger has come home to roast.

Heart attack is real, be warned and stay clear of sugary drinks.

Na sickness make me quit coke, don't allow yourself to reach that stage.

I repeat, I wished someone warned me earlier.

Op you can actually stop any addiction by your personal decision.

Just replace the urge of taking Pepsi while eating with Water(Aqua) bh so doing, you will conquer the addition.

I haven't drank any soda for a month. All soft drinks are fattening since the sugar in them turns to fat

I have thesame issue (don't know if to say 'had'). I decided since the 31st of last month to not drink Pepsi or any other soda and I've tried to discipline myself. Today makes it 12 days since I haven't had Pepsi and it's a big deal for me.

Just try to put pepsi away and drink water instead. Also try to avoid meals that you know you wouldn't like to take without Pepsi, say snacks for example. For the meals you can't avoid, try to use water of any fruit juice. I hope this helps.
sont is fruit juice- there is barely any difference between fruit juice and pepsi
Make a smoothie instead and I'd u want to use sugar - use date sugar instead.

If I'm to calculate the number of carbonated drinks I have taken this year it won't be up to 3 bottles at all and it all came from the little I begged from my daughter whenever she is drinking it.

I just don't know why I'm not interested in it that much.

But op your case get as e be o... One for breakfast and one for dinner, na ritual

I used to take 4 or 5 a day before , now I take maximum of 3 a day , small small I'll be able to stop it totally

I also had this issue but mine was sprite and coca cola, there isn't a day that goes bye without me taking at least one can of sprite or Coca-Cola, sometimes I even finish the 1 liter version of them under 24 hours.

I haven't been able to break free completely but I've made major progress, at least I can say I go a month without taking any of the aforementioned drinks. I'll tell you my secret, I watched a lot of documentary on what Coca-Cola does to your body overtime and the side effects of excess sugar. Now each time I'm tempted to drink coca cola or sprite, I drink a lot of water and this kills the thirst for sugar, water is very good, each time I ask for water instead of Coca-Cola, I feel very proud of myself.

Buy legend stout. Take small sips whenever u have the craving for sugar. One can should last you a day or two.. Within one week.. You wont remember the taste of soda.. And stout is easy to ditch cos of the bitter taste.. I hate being addicted to anything ...

Take it or leave it, all human will definitely have to fight one or more battles at a certain point in life. More interesting and exciting is to have the courage to own up and decide to face the issue squarely.
I salute your courage.
I can relate to this issue because I am...... Uhumm... was also Coke addict.

I will tell you it is not going to be easy but with discipline and dedication you can do it.

I will modify this post later to give you tips on how to handle the urge to grab the bottle... Have to work now....
