Hello guys.
*Straight to the point.
I am a university student and there's this girl I have known since level 1. We've been very friendly with each other, we spend time together, study together and even share secrets. So now the thing is I have fallen in love with this girl but she doesn't feel the same way and you know what? I don't even want her to feel the same way about me. Honestly if there's a way I can stop feeling that way towards her I definitely will adopt it. I hate the fact that I am in love with her.
So what I am thinking of doing now is to confess my feelings to her telling her that we should stop seeing each other, perhaps the feelings will dissipate. I can't just ghost her like that as she's a very emotional person and would start thinking that it is really her fault. She's a kind of person that's been through alot and is broken inside. I am not even sure how she'll take it should I tell her what's in my mind. She might start crying and that will make me feel very bad. I don't want to be in love with anybody right now and my continuous contact with her only makes me fall deeper, if care is not taken it might get to a point where I cant do anything about it so I have to do something about it as soon as possible. Any suggestions please?
