Just get the Toyota Matrix, its a feminine looking car, especially the RED colour.

No waste money, go buy Toyota Yaris

The best car for women would have been a ToyotaCorolla, that's what my sisters use. But for security purpose I did say a civic is the right one just my opinion

Look for a Ford Escape, if you can find an imported 2010-2012 it will be perfect

Maintenance cannot be a problem, so get vw Passat 2015 (it's within your budget 5 milla), benz, Acura, Lexus.

1. Practicality
2. Easy to maintain
3. Visibility/ easy to drive

2. Toyota Matrix/ Pontiac Vibe
3. Toyota Corolla 2010- 2013
4. 2011 Honda CRV
5 2013 Honda Civic
6. 2013 Hyundai Elantra
7. 2013 Hyundai Tucson
8. 2010 Acura MDX (slightly more than 5 mill, but
worth it)

10. 2010 Ford Edge

The two last cars are not particularly easy to drive or maintain but i love seeing women in them.
