The Jews chose Saturday as their Sabbath day while the Christians chose Sunday as their Sabbath day. The confusion here is that in the calendar Sunday is written as the first day of the week but it was not so.

Did God named the day he rested "Saturday" how do you know that God started counting the days of the week on Sunday?

I think there is nothing like Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday during the time. He just counted the days of creation as day 1,2,3,4,5,6 and he rested on seventh day. So any religion can start counting their own from any day of the week. Provided that there is one particular to represent the day God rested.

Even the calendar we are using was not made by God, is man made. God has his own way of counting days. That is why we say God's time is the best.

But the bible tells us not to make any physical act of worship a do or die affair. The bible enjoins us in romans 14:5, not to rate any day above the other. Sunday assembly originated from this verse: Act 20:7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight. . The choice of Sunday is not necessarily based on any ordinance but this does not invalidate the Sabbath which is to be prophetically observed in remembrance of the day the children of the LORD GOD shall enter into their rest. As for me, I believe in observing the Sabbath on Saturday and worshiping with the brethren on Sunday. What Christians do on Sunday is not rest. We go to church and pray for the attainment of our desires, to feed from the feet of GOD and the benefit our spiritual and physical lives directly and this is contrary to the spirit of the Sabbath...on the Sabbath you are to seek the pleasure of the LORD GOD alone in worship, praise, intercession, giving alms and doing good that does not benefit us directly but benefits others and the LORD GOD.
