O.p is very right in all ramifications, when I saw Turkey -Africa summit, I was very disappointed in African leaders, Turkey can not match South Africa in almost everything, Egypt has a better Army than Turkey, so what is Turkey bringing to the table for all Africans? Africans are at the base of world's social strata, they are the world's dumping ground, if not for our leadership issues, do you think Turkey would be able to stand Nigeria in any way? even with our comatose state, we still beat them in entertainment, sports and population.

Africa has a GDP of $2.6 biliion whilst Turkey's GDP is about $700 billion.
Mexico The Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland are all bigger economies

Nigeria should relate to Turkey on a bilateral level and should not attend any ego boosting summits

Turkey is not that much bigger than Nigeria and we would even be bigger if we had better leaders

This is belittling to Nigeria and the continent

Right now the Turkish lira is under the cosh and Turkey has little to offer
