Fire & Theft Insurance will cover the loss.

Soon, police will sweep up the looters like they did after the looted Covid-19 palliatives. Even those not participated in this looting would be made to pay for the looted items.
waiting on falseprophet1 to confirm this prophecy.

It’s better to loot than let everything burn if u ask me. Some of the goods can be salvaged and used.

I’m more concerned about the fire service than people looting goods that are about to get burnt anyways. undecided

What's the difference between those looting and the goods getting burnt Ain't saying they did the right thing anyway... They could have been on help to rescuing goods they could do instead of looting

Too bad. Instead of them to help

Billions wasted oh! Next is the busiest mall in Abj, ppl from Gwagwalada mostly go to Next to shop despite the ShopRite in Airport rd and Wuse zone 5. This is massive lose on Next management and over 500 employees working there.

The only way they can escape judgement is if they return those looted items to to owner after the disaster.

It's just a case of the looters looting from a fellow looter that's all.

Anambra loot is simply being shared. The fire was just the facilitator.

They should loot everything including the smoke detector and hinges

This video does not prove they are looting. What I see are good citizens helping evacuate goods to fire free area. Nigerians are good at that

No fire service to put out the fire
No police to secure the environment.
Even in the heart of Nigeria's capital, Abuja.

What exactly is the usefulness of the Nigerian government?

The right question to ask is were no hydrants or hose reel installed? No sprinkler system? No trained staff that can handle these fire fighting equipment? And where are the security team to ward of people from having access except emergency responders? This shows no fire action plan in place at all.
exactly!!! A big shop like that supposed to have a sprinkler system.....I saw the smoke but didn't know it is from next cash and carry.

You people are blaming the wrong people

If this is a sane clime, security operatives would at least be on the scene, while waiting the fire service

From when the first post till now, it’s obvious neither security or fire fighters have arrived

Condolence to the business owner

Well, what can I say than to wish “EVERY NIGERIAN POLITICIAN” more fire - consuming their ill-gotten treasures.

You are only doing yourself evil indirectly. They are not at loss, though the business would be affected and their morale getting low for little time. Insurance will pay for the loss. You are not thinking about those employed directly and indirectly. You are only doing yourself and not the politicians.
